Hello, so this is partly correct yes - The patch today was part of our Summer Core update, including Core improvements and UK Add-on improvements/fixes. We additionally have US/DE add-on-focused improvements coming soon, which were initially planned to be released alongside these changes, but we're giving the teams more time to check and test the changes. TL;DR this was the Summer update, we have more DE/UK improvements coming soon!
Still only one save game slot though... And nothing to address steam (traction) issues so looks like it is truly abandoned. However looks like a good set of fixes otherwise.
Do these other improvements include the SEHS AI PIS bug and some trains on the route not stopping at the appropriate stop marker?
I am wondering this too. DTG Alex, do you know whether a fix for the SEHS AI PIS bug is being worked on for this upcoming update? Every roadmap it gets brought up, it is clearly in high demand to be fixed. DTG Matt said it was on the list for the summer core update, but a fix for it was not addressed in today’s update. Some transparency regarding this long lasting and very frustrating bug would be greatly appreciated by myself and other members of the community. Thanks
It would be good to know if they are actually still working on the save game feature. We've not heard anything since the basic utility was restored. I don't think they want to do steam. They've as much as said so. It is encouraging that they're attacking some long-standing issues. More to come? NYT, Cajon, LIRR2?
We have a fix for it in the latest development build but it missed the deadline for this patch unfortunately. As the fix ended up being a change in the core PIS component we need to go through testing out all the trains that use it to make sure there's no unexpected side effects of the fix which will take a little while. Still expecting to release this soon though as long as no issues are found. Nearly there. Thank you all for your patience. Matt.
Hey Matt, Thanks for finally having fixed the gangways and cables on the Class 801, that would be nice if the same can be done for the Class 395. It suffers the same issue.
Very nice too see all those fixes for UK content One thing that still bothers me is that the Class 66 has a problem with the amps for the first couple of notches. It looks really silly to be in notch 1 and the loco generating almost 5k amps. I don't know when this issue got into the game but it has been like this for a long time (TSW2 and onwards). Only the DB Schenker variant functions correctly with staying a at roughly 1k amps in notch 1 and going up 1k per notch. Would be awesome if you guys could look into it. Seems like a Simugraph bug. Thank you and keep up the good work.
DTG Matt will the update fix this bug? Xbox One Bug: Ecml Crashing On All Timetable Services Starting From Doncaster When I load into any timetable service on any train that starts from Doncaster and start loading passengers, everything seems okay. However, when I (prepare to) depart the station, the game will freeze at certain points and then crash. It also crashes just after passing Doncaster freight yard in the down direction and before the over-bridge tunnel on any timetable service.
Just checking, sure the notes stated reverb has been added to BML for bridges and tunnels, but took a run earlier and didn't notice any difference? Here's the quote from the announcement (my bold and italics)... Brighton Main Line Class 387 Added unbranded version of the Class 387 GX livery Tweaked running noise audio in order to make the tunnel/bridge noise audible Fixed PIS not being visible on ToD 4 routes Fixed text on PIS boards incorrectly showing the full sentence
hey DTG Alex or DTG Matt the "fife circle line improvements" mentioned on may roadmap, has it already come with rivet games addons update or will it still come?
Whenever I'm loading a service from the timetable on any route, I get an xbox notification saying update needed, but it can't get it. It doesn't specify what. Only noticed this since the update. Anyone else?
I'm still having issues on BML with passengers not being visible and seats being occupied by invisible passengers (evidenced by the fact that I can't sit in the seats)
I really feel for those with low capacity hard drive space as this update is over 39gb. l cannot see TSW5 coming this year now.
I would still go slightly more than 50/50 on it being TSW5. A decent comprehensive patch fosters amity with the customer base and well disposed users are more likely to just go, “Oh what the heck” and stump up the £40 for TSW5.
That's pretty much what I've done in the past, but, given the disappointments with TSW4, I'm going to look carefully at the contents of TSW5 ( updates and routes) before jumping in right away.
Haven't gotten a chance to try it yet- can anyone confirm bridge/tunnel reverb on BML? That would be a pretty big update to one of my favorite routes, and greatly appreciated if so- maybe TOD4 someday please?
DTG Alex - any views please, does not seem to be any reverb evident on BML bridges and tunnels despite the reference in the notes.
I'd like to know when they're going to fix the SEHS speed issue? Bloody confusing when the Speedo is telling your speed in Kmh but the HUD is showing it in MPH!
