There is no way to make any formation with class 170. It's not just about lack of coaches to make fromation, it is even impossible to connect two units to each other, which should work without any problem. I hope this will be sorted out.
its crazy how they promoted this idea of being able to fully customise a consist but then doesnt let you customise certain trains in a consist.
It is possible to get a 6-car rake into the game using the public editor. However, if you have EDN-GLA, then shortly my mod will be uploaded and you can acquire empty & loaded 6-car formations using this.
I think what they meant was that we couldnt make use of the middle car/cab cars within the formation designer without mods?
Yes I know but I also thought that the OP might be interested in knowing that 6-car versions will be available to use in-game soon. No point in moaning about Formation Designer whilst it is still in beta. Let's hope that it moves to Alpha soon
