Are there any updates on the Southeastern high speed AI PIS bug?

 

Will there be a July roadmap?

Someone said last year there was none.

 

What happened to the Austrian Loco that was in the first roadmaps 6 month + category? Has it been canceled?

Not important but could you just give a little hint if the next german route is electric or diesel? would be cool so we could expect a bit whats coming

 

1. What would the Suspension improvement look like, and what loco would received update?
2. When would the major update for DE and US routes release?
3. Could we expect more info about the FCL improvement and JT's new route?
4. Any new info for the unknown UK route and the San Bernardino line?
5. Why the Suspension improvement and PC editor improvement require such a long time to develop, are there any technical issues slow down its development?

 

It's already been confirmed by matt and previous roadmaps that there are updates coming to de and us content. They are all part of the summer update, but releasing at different times

 

Please please take a look at the free roam trains. Some trains aren’t moveable even in their own respective route. For exam the Isle of Wight and the island line both trains don’t move on there own respective route. And the bakerloo trains don’t move in free roams as well. Please please take a look at most of the train in free roam thank you.

Could you go into detail on the LAMP process again?

Just as a refresher and to make it clear for people who make suggestions and for others not on the forums why some routes and trains are more or less likely to come and how you decide what to make?

 

Is there any news on trying to put class 710 on bakerloo line

If/when the formation designer includes the ability to load cargo, how will it work - can one choose the type of cargo and the exact amount, or will it just be a binary choice between loaded and unloaded?

Will it allow setting the fuel level on diesel locomotives, so people could make scenarios similar to 'Running on Vapors'?

Will it come with different character models (driver, passengers, etc) or will it use the default western ones?

Can it couple with the Rail Operations Group Class 37?

 

Thank you for having an eye on the drawing distance improvements for Series X!
On that occasion I'd like to encourage you to share some progress, a simple 'still working on it' would be nice.

Some other, maybe a bit visionary questions:

- with many projects evolving, have you already found some time to discuss possible solutions to be able to release Editor projects on console?
- with the rolling stock collection continously expanding, are you considering solutions to expand the timetables of older routes without having to clone Joe?
- what are your thoughts about your parent company explaining TSW as some sort of franchise with annual iterations?
- are you satisfied with the sales numbers of TSW4 and its DLCs?
- what further features would you like to implement in the game in the next couple of years?

I'm quite sure not all of these can be answered so easily but feel free to do so...

 

Questions about the upcoming San Bernardino route:

1. Are we going to see any freight on the route?
2. Do we get to play with any safety systems on the route?

Why only add the 380 now and any update on the leven branch?

 

Any more fixes for Fife circle?

 

Long tunnels - I would be interested to hear from Matt about why we sometimes see the light at the end of the tunnel in Bakerloo line and SEHS for example and then it just disappears and the tunnel continues. This is on both PS4 and PS5, so I reckon it isn’t really a bug and rather to do with draw distance (mentioned by another poster above) and tile loading. I would like to hear how/if Matt thinks this could be addressed please

 

I’m interested in the Scottish routes and eventual crossover layers with locos and trains. Sadly I heard that voice train announcements will not occur in Cathcart Circle. That would have been a treat.

What about Thomson interactive? Glasgow - Dumblane is the best I’ve tried in TSC!

 

1) Is there any mechanism for getting partner created addons into Consoles, via the store or an extended Creators Club?
2) Which routes will the expert 101 and cab car appear on, will it directly replace what's currently there and/or add to new routes?

Steam locos - are they ever getting finished?

 

How come you use a UK flag for England and a Scotland flag for Scotland?

Also how accessible is in the main roadmap image?

 

Why have signals become so hard to see in new routes? From naturally driving the East Coast Mainline quite a lot, I recently had a blast at Great Western Express and it was a real eye opener. I play on the Xbox Series X and can see signals far more realistically and visible at reasonable distances on the oldest UK route than I can on Peterborough to Doncaster, why is this?

 

About the roadmap stream: Why is the community showcase happening in here? Do the people working tirelessly on these wonderful projects not deserve their own stream rather than being treated as filler?

 

Will the unused stations on Cathcart (Crossmyloof, Dumbreck) be usable in Scenario Planner?
On that, what are the scenario planner options like for Cathcart's remaster?

 

We are still getting regular requests for more steam traction in the Suggestions forum. Can you say if there are plans to revisit the current hiatus and/or bring someone in who can sort out the mess the current implementation is currently in.

Why has the Class 104 DMU fallen back so badly? A few months ago we were shown a greyscale image from the 3D modelling programme but nothing since. Should we now consider as vapourware?

When will you confirm whether its TSW5 or a content bundle this year, come late summer?

How many services are there total in Cathcart's new timetable?
And what's the era of the new Cathcart circle? It seems a bit conflicting with the wheelchair decals on the 380, the 801, and the 314 appearing at the same time, i'd assume maybe 2018-2019 but I could be wrong

 

Will the suspension improvements be backported to the older versions of a TSW4 loco (like the old Class 66s)?

 

The main way timetable overhauls happen is to have a dev work in their free time and Joe is the main person who says "I'll do it." Or some other dev but for the most part, it'll be Joe

 

There are any news about the editor, like documentations, the fix for cooking contents or others video about "how to"?

 

The roadmap article mentions a "A new procedural foliage system (as seen in the Overground Line)" for the Fife Circle update by Rivet Games.

Can you give us a bit of insight of what this new procedual foliage system is and how it works?

From what I've gathered, metra is difficult to get a license for.

 

Is the ScotRail Class 158 and 380 going to be free for the owners who already own Cathcart and Fife? Or are these seperate DLCs that we'll have to buy...

The 158 and 380 are two separate DLCs that you will have to buy (if you want them).
The original Cathcart Circle DLC contents will be updated for free (the route and the class 314).

 

Now that we've had two routes remastered, any idea which ones you'd probably do next?

These Q&A's are being posted The day of the road map is almost unfair to the people who do have questions and are not aware of these questions and answer threads. I would suggest even posting a Q&A three days before an Actual road map stream. I at the moment only have One question and is a follow up to load Long Island railroad version 2.0. Has the electrical sparks issue been fixed or is there a fix on the way? Matt had mentioned electrically sparks were supposed to be featured along this route as it was a feature introduced Tsw.3. Matt mentioned on day one over release that it was supposed to be implemented and may not be there because of English and I've been asking to follow through

The 380 never existed in tsw so it wouldn't make sense for it to be free. The 158 is also a new model very different from the emt version. Unfortunately nothing in the world is free.

I would have a lot more questions on a lot more routes but focusing on Long Island railroad Version 2.0. Can we Any info or ETA on a Long Island 2.0 patch? It has been out for more than a month with no patches whatsoever. Every other Released routes normally get their patches a week or two after they are out? I quickly wanted to address some trolls since they want some attention on a dead thread because they are unhappy with there life just know that these are questions I'm asking for a community with over 11,000 people I have been running for four years now SMH sad to see the forums still allows children on these threads. You should be asking questions On Threads and stop minding other peoples business as if you work for DTG lol. Dtg explained in the past but the biggest hurdle is length. French routes require a long piece of track which isn't realistic to make for tsw

 

I'm gonna assume it's gonna be bundled with the us core update getting released in the coming months. Unfortunate but that seems like the only logical option considering patch schedules have been cut back

Steam locos are out of the question since dtg have stopped steam development. A big boy would be pointless if the simulation doesn't work properly. Even certain 3rd parties don't want to make any steam at all due to the simulation

Dtg mentioned in the past multiplayer won't happen because there's a lot of core changes that need to be done and lots of moving parts. The game would have to be rebuilt from the ground up for mp to happen but dtg have no plans to bring mp.

 

Good luck with that. Can't help himself I guess. The QA is his favorite thread. I don't know why DTG bother with a Roadmap stream since their wanabe spokesperson can answer any and all questions right here.
