hi, I played the new TS classic 2024 but I encountered a "glitch" with the headlights of the trains I drive, practically when I put the camera free and pass from afar you can't see the headlights, then suddenly when the train approaches they turn on, never this thing happened, only after the update..how do I solve it, thanks.
Having the same issue, youre not the only one Tried tinkering w/ light settings no luck But like Spike said seems like it is getting worked on
Yup, I have noticed the headlights on AI trains for any route appear when the train is about 200 ft in front of the player's train. Before TSC2024, you can see the headlights from a far distance (approximately 1 mile). Marker/tail lights don't appear to be an issue but only the headlights of AI trains. I hope this bug gets fixed
Don't know if it's related but in the Taurus Mountains Route on the DE24000 Loco, the top headlight doesn't work. By moving the light switch (or pressing H) to the first position, the bottom two lamps turn on. Moving the light switch (or pressing H a second time), the top headlight stays dark. As far as I remember, this top lamp worked before the May 2024 update. Maybe someone else owning this route/loco could validate that I don't make a mistake.
yes, on all routes the lights don't work well from what I understand, we're waiting for a patch or update that solves the problem for everyone
Yup, the headlights and tail lights used to be viewable from quite a distance away, now, it's only about 200ft before you can't see the lights on the train
I have reported this problem to the official before, and I hope that the official can fix this problem as soon as possible.(For me, who likes to take screenshots, this question affects me a lot.)
So I'm not sure if it hits the Taurus Mountain DE24000 as the lower two lights shine, only the top light (two bulbs) stay dark, no matter how near I am. But as I remember, they work until the last update. Maybe a script thing...
It could be that the update to the DTG is causing some scripts to be buggy.(The problem has already been reported to them, and we can only wait for them to update the patch to fix the problem.)
I'm still waiting for an update that fixes the lighting issue, it's ridiculous that every time this game updates there's always something wrong!
I encountered a bug in the NJCL where the F40PH strobe lights and ditch lights continuously blink. The marker lights on the F40PH are all white and on the ditch lights, there are two different hue's to the lighting. I really hope these bugs with the headlights on the trains get resolved quickly.
In the Steam library, right click on Train Simulator Classic 2024 --> select properties --> Select Beta --> change "none" to "public_beta-Public Beta Branch" TSC will now begin to run a small update after you launch the simulator
HI, I did this procedure and fortunately the lights bug has been resolved, only another problem has arisen, every time I open a quick drive scenario I have all the red signals in front of me, unable to travel, with every route it does this, what can I do? before all the quick drives worked perfectly, thanks for the help
The current beta breaks the signals on some routes as reported in this thread: Public Beta Build 78.1a | Dovetail Games Forums. Best to opt out of the beta branch for the time being and put up with the the lights bug until the beta is changed to allow all routes' signal to work correctly again.
