So Where Does Everyone Railfan?

I railfan the Norfolk Southern s line. How about you.

 

I’m railfan of “Metro do Porto” Portugal, of course!

 

I am a fan of the older railroads which sadly have been lost to time. Milwaukee Road, Chicago & Northwestern, Soo Line, and Wisconsin Central. They were my favorites growing up. So I will have to say that I like the stretch of tracks between Milwaukee and Chicago, mainly for the freight train traffic.

 

Use to rail fan at Tottenham yard in melbourne, Australia. The yard wasn't used much but there was main line next to it. Grain, steel and container trains

Anywhere that I am and there are rails.

But my hometown is Jefferson City, Missouri and we have a pretty busy Union Pacific line that runs through town so that is probably where I spend most of my time. I always enjoy checking out new locations when I'm traveling.

 

I railfan Canadian National's Waukesha Sub in southern Wisconsin.

 

They have interesting engines.

 

All over Germany's state of NRW pretty much, with a focus on the Cologne region where I live. Because after all, even the longest journey begins at your doorstep, aka home station.

Also, occasional excursions to nearby Belgium and Netherlands. Or up the Rhine toward Frankfurt.

 

Wish it was the famous SD45 dominant Wisconsin Central LTD.
