Hello, could DTG possible add a Thameslink service from East Croydon to Brighton as we already have the loco, and stopping services via Horley and utilise the hard work adding those extra stations, thank you
The main issue is performance and memory. Bml is in an unstable state with all the traffic and trains already
Yet, on PC, Modders have put the 700 on the route without a hitch. All this BML is unstable stuff is nonsense. If it can be done on PC, then the same should be for console.
Surely the PS5 and Xbox series X have the memory to put the 700 on there or remove the 313 which is a waste on the route
The 313 can stay as its relevant. But the 375 and HST don't need to be there. HSTs never ran near the route (certainly not GWR ones) and the 375s are on diversions which didn't take place in BML's time period (the 375s at Victoria can stay though).
Actually hsts did run in the route before voyagers took over. There used to be a service from Scotland to Brighton which went down the north London line from Watford down to Clapham junction then Carried on down the BML to Brighton. Great western also ran them on coastal services in the past.
I’d remove the Southeastern trains from the timetable except at Victoria to make room for some 700s between Brighton/Three Bridges via Earlswood and East Croydon. Could layer in some GWR 158s at Brighton for Great Malvern. Also why are the GWR trains from Reigate to Gatwick Airport split in 2 parts?
That southeastern trains even only at victoria would be using up memory and ready to be loaded up so it wouldn't make a difference if it's still present so better to remove them to make space for the 700
Thats actually a good question. If I was to hazard a guess, its because at Redhill you're required to change ends.
Said service was 47s and Mark 2 Air Cons and latterly Voyagers. Only southern region to see HSTs was Basingstoke to Bournemouth.
I don’t ever remember 47s working it but I do remember the voyagers doing it down to Brighton lots of pictures online of that as well.
