I am sure that there are in a place not hard to find, but where are the screen shots saved when taken through the game? I want to be able to post them to my GTribe account and my Beamstream.gg streaming pages. Thanks in advance.
Open steam and locate train simulator. You will see your recent screenshots in game. Open one right click it and there will be an option to open file location. You will know where they are getting saved as it will open that location as a pop up window.
In Steam itself there is also a Screenshots menu option, under View. You can then choose the game the screenshot is in and use the folder icon to locate them on your hard drive.
Thank you folks for your help. I figured that it was something simple, which is what probably confused me (lol)...
You will find them here: System Disk/ Program Files (x86)/ Steam/userdata/97555375/760/remote/24010/screenshots. This is where screenshots are stored when taken from the camera icon in the HUD or with F12. For easy access make a shortcut on your desktop to this folder.
Sorry to bump the thread, but I also wanted to say that using the camera icon or Ctrl + S will also save the screenshot to your Pictures folder on your computer. This does not happen when using F12.
Using the Camera Button does save the file with route information Like - Screenshot_The Racetrack - Aurora to Chicago_41.80266--87.92913_10-30-36
No route name in the filebame for me all the time Did some tests in the past and could not figure out when / when not. Hence my question.
Pictures taken with the Camera Icon save to C:\Users\peter\Pictures although the game is on my G Drive. The game also saves a picture to G:\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxxx\760\remote\24010\screenshots as 20240531173152_1.jpg
This is where I uploaded just a few of the screenshots.... Thanks again for the info http://simulators.stclinton.com/index.php?/category/1
