Back then I’ve seen some suggestions about making an MTA/NYCT route to train sim world since TSW3 didn’t existed (TSW2), and some people doubt that dovetail will actually get a chance on making one So im not very sure if that is gonna happen in the future, possibly not going to happen form other's POV but who knows? Maybe it’d release in TSW5 if it exists.
As discussed when this comes up in Suggestions the answer is no. The operator has refused access to the trains and routes for any form of research, due to security concerns.

Might be slight chance MTA change that in the future but no guarantee, from what I know they changed to be more “strict” since LIRR1, might be one day hope that re changes. never say never with TSW is always my view.
