So I wanted to have some BR 182 fun with dostos on Hamburg - Lubeck route... started a service and opened the doors with U, and left doors opened... when I pressed Y, right doors opened... anyone else encountered this? I also noticed they updated the scoring to platinums, maybe some update broke the controls?
Same. Left button opens right doors. Right button opens left. It's occurs no matter which loco is at the front end. HBK dosto issue!
For a change, AI trains with BR 146.2 and BR 143 in Hamburg have started to open both doors. And BR112 (substitution) on other maps will probably also open all doors. But the broken service EN + ES 64 MRCE on Vorarlberg now working corectly ..... It will probably be related to the BR 218 and its controlled Dosto or n-Wagen doors
The HBK Dostos and the HBK 112 got an update to the door systems to the most recent version of it to work with the 218. That causes new problems as it seems. When i was looking for it, there was no sign these trains were appearing anywhere else. But everyone forgot to think about the substitution. It is a pain, yes, definitely. At best, all other Dostos and all older locos with inverted door controls need a fix. BUT that is not a thing that will happen yet i guess, unless i do it all on my own. That is a massive pile of work and QA testing. Probably to much to do it.
But for those AI trains in Hamburg led by BR 146 or 143, it is better to open both doors than not to open the door ... and thus block traffic
You cannot fight the Lava Flow that is TSW alone, Maik. Btw, being a long time supporter of yours, I've purchased the 218. Great work, though I am missing the "roar" of the H-brake, clearly audible in Zusi. Also I'd advise raising the driver cam Z to 112, which I have done on my end already. Else the Glare Panels are useless, and track visibility is improved. Also, the Indicator Dimmer only affects the door indicator, not the 10-indicator block itself. Driver Camera at height 112 All that DTG can do and what they are trying to do, is damage control. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lava_flow_(programming)
Hydrodynamical brake. (rightmost handle). Equivalent in function of the electric dynamic brake on Diesel-Electric locos with generators, but working differently.
kinda guessed that, but which lever is it connected to? I usually just use train brake which is how I discovered that you cannot use notch 4 of train brake, only 3 or 5... tried with mouse, even there I had to hold it on notch 4, when I released the mouse button, it went to either 3 or 5... seems like an input bug to me, but I could be wrong... discovered similar stuff on 111, when using train brake, notch 6 and then full application, cannot use notch 7 for some reason? sorry for this off-topic
