PlayStation Cathcart Circle Remaster

Hi, perhaps I'm not trying hard enough but I've not managed as yet to find out when the remaster is actually being released. Apparently the 380 is next Thursday. The logical part of my brain is telling me the remaster will be the same day could anyone please confirm this?? Thanks

 

It (along with the 380) is in the 0-3 months section of the roadmap. They've also released a preview of the Class 380.

So my guess is sometime within that timeframe, most likely in the coming weeks.

 

The remaster will come before the 380. I’d guess next Tuesday but you never know

 

They said on the stream last night that the 380 will arrive on the 11th ie next week. The plan is for the remaster to be released BEFORE the 380 so anytime between now and the 10th. Matt confirmed this last night in stream.

However the revised timetable and new services will not come until you purchase the 380 on the 11th.

 

I imagine the update will come Monday or Tuesday with the 380 releasing on Thursday. It probably won't come today because if there's any issues they wouldn't be able to resolve anything over the weekend.

 

The updated route was available to down load for PS5 this evening, but when I reloaded TSW it still only has the old route available to play? Is there some sort of time restriction before the updated route will be playable?

 

I am on PS5 and have had no updates to any route today.

 

If you search it, the updated route is available to download, but just not showing once downloaded.

Cuz it's not ready yet. Dtg have not made any announcements saying the update is out

 

Usually if a route isn't ready, it isn't made available to download, but the remaster has been made downloadable, just not accessible, which is odd. But as I've said in another thread it must have a timer on it before it becomes playable.

 

I suspect it'll be around roadmap day

 

i wonder if the remaster was to be released on Monday as Matt did say the hoped to have the remaster out before the 380 but couldnt promise. Giving how consoles work releases and with it being a weekend i wonder if the consoles "release" the download early and it is meant to come out on monday. Would be interesting to know if thats what happened as steam normally release content at 1800 uk time so if that drops at 1800 on Monday that theory could be right.

 

I think simply that the free update patch will download tomorrow (Tuesday),and then you get the updated timetable with the 380 on Thursday,if you purchase the dlc of course

 

If it does come out tomorrow I'll still be giving it a run just to have a butchers at the amazing work Liams put into remastering it... and it'll be nice to see the slightly upgraded 314...

It’s updating on Steam now, but not yet on Xbox for me.

 

I had to manually check the updates tab and do it from there!

 

PS5, just checked for updates and they were there, now all installed and ready to play later on…

 

Now just arrived on Xbox, installing as l type.

Is the remaster done solely by DTG?

 

Think it was one person or something. Joe did timetable and another did the upgrade. There's information on one of the roadmaps

 

Hope they will now do WCL and make that look more acceptable than the dire amateurish version we have now.

 

Had a couple of runs, a vast improvement. The 314 is even better. I'll give it even more mileage on Thursday when the 380 is released.
