I've been on many heritage railways recently and every time I've just thought "this would look fantastic in tsw4!"
Now I know that WSR already in game, although it's recent upgrade is fantastic it can be a very boring route for many people because of it's length and 1hr40min journey. Here's a line I'll suggest which could be more popular in game.
ECCLESBOURNE VALLEY RAILWAY: WIRKSWORTH TO DUFFIELD
decent collection of locos. Many of which could provide layers with existing content such as class 31, 33, 47, 101 and possibly more.
In order to gain popularity we would need new stock. This could include any of the following:
Class 14, 73, 121, 104 (hopefully coming with Peak Forest), and BR 4MT steam loco if possible. There are also some industrial shunters on the line and hopefully we could have a mix of passenger and freight stock to fill the sidings.
I'm sure there would be interest in the scenery along the line as it is overgrown with foliage the whole way, there is a short tunnel on approach to duffield along with a re-built section of track and 5MPH TSR along that section (if route was set present), Two stations between-IDRIDGEHAY (which has a low platform with a small raised section for access) and SHOTTLE (which has a signal box and small second platform for increased running). The line has a large amount of old fashioned manual level crossings (would be a great feature if player can get down and operate crossing themselves like IRL) DUFFIELD national rail station is visible from heritage station along with EMR/EMT services, maybe some AI could be possible there for people who own MML. Journey length on the line is about 30-40 mins with usual speed 25mph so would hopefully be preferred by those who absolutely despise driving on WSR because of it's length and amount of stations. EVR has just 4 compared to the 10 stations on WSR.

Thanks for your attention and I do hope that we have another heritage line in game wether it's this one or something else it's something we need to see

There be people moaning that's it only 25mph sadly. The sim does need more heritage railways in it will be the easiest way to get steam back though

I'd honestly prefer sth like Mariazellerbahn, which is a mostly mountainous/winding narrow gauge railway... it has modern stock that looks like tram-trains with vmax around 80-90 kph, but they also do a ton of railtours/heritage services with stuff from steam locos, old diesels and also one of very early electric locos dating back to like 1910s

If people are going to moan about it being 25mph then they just shouldn't buy it in the first place. If tsw ever gets more steam then my first choice will be the bluebell railway but without steam we can't have bluebell because basically all that they use is steam they only have 2 working diesel locos irl
