Ik this is random, but is there a chance of getting more rolling stock for Amtrak? Mostly for the Northeast Corridor.

 

Oops, another bug I forgot for ECML - Steeeeeeeeeeevenage (less es but still too many)

 

It's immersion breaking the lack of a guard buzzer etc.

 

Would St. Evenage be better?

Anyway here’s one from me. Will JD be fitted with an electric shock collar so Matt can zap him if about to give the game away re TSW5?

 

DTG JD, you've been away alot lately. You going to be on the roadmap stream tonight with Matt?

Is the class 380's P.I.S system based of the IRL system or is it simplified?

 

Might be tricky. Some amtrak trains like the aem7 and hhp8 no longer exist or run. Marc has hhp8s but dtg can't access those without a license.

The p42 is out of the picture since dtg already said it's too much work for very little in return.

I know dtg were able to record amtrak equipment while in california but that's about it

 

What impact could nationalisation of UK railways have on licencing for TSW UK content?? If someone could answer this today or on the stream and tag me with a response/timestamp that would be much appreciated.

- Why does the Flying Scotsman itself not get suspension?
- Will the formation designer improvements come with the same update that adds suspension, or will it come later?

 

Is the UK route, UK loco, DE loco and German route separate things to the content announced for the Dovetail Direct?
Will they come before or after the content revealed for the Direct?

 

The article for the 101expert does not mention anything about scenarios. Not a big fan of scenarios myself, tbh, but I would think they are quite essential for an expert product in order to get the full potential of the loco (cold and dark comes to mind)?!

 

JD. The roadmap appears disjointed, surely the comings on August 20th, six weeks away should be in the 0-3 months section. Or does this be mean they will be announced on August 20th and not released until October?

Some clarification on the stream tonight would be useful, please.

It seems like Rivet have totally abandoned on making an improvement to the Fife Circle Line considering the state it is in. Can you confirm or not are they going to make a Huge improvements to FCL as their track record normally shows they don't go back to their products even though their is so much to finish off. I am trying to keep it respectful as possible but as paying customers the route just isn't up to standards.

 

Just some clarification here, will the 158 only have scenarios on fife circle? Or will it have its own timetable as well? The wording in the roadmap is a bit confusing

 

Hey DTG could it be that you forgot the Vectron on your suspension list?

 

A bit of an unrelated and general question, but I have heard that geo data have become publicly available in Germany since 9th June. Maybe also in other countries as I believe this is a EU thing. (Also see this article, which I found, obvs. in German.)

I assume this covers also LIDAR data, which you use for route building, but I'm not excactly sure. If I am right with this assumption: Are you aware of this and does this open up possibilities for routes in other german states, which so far didn't have free Lidar data, such as Baden-Württemberg?

Would appretiate an answer. Thank you in advance!

 

What is happening with NEC New York to Trenton timetable improvements on TSW3?

 

When will get any progress with the Alan Thompson route, I feel like it was first announced when TSW3 was first announced and there's been nothing since except "There's an Alan Thompson UK route being worked on."

 

Why won't the Class 710 and other products that came this year get suspension, but other TSW4 locos will?

 

Tsw4 is the newest game and dtg don't support older tsw titles

 

I second this…if the Leven Branch isn’t due until after ‘TSW5’, does that suggest we will need to buy another iteration of TSW in order to get the Class 158 timetable!

 

The original plan according to dtg was to get it out to the core routes first. It's a massive project in itself so they can't do everything or nothing releases.

 

Last year, it was intended to bring suspension forward to all TSW4 locos. Plans will inevitably change, so if suspension won't come to GOBLIN, I can live with that, but I would like to know why the decision was made.

 

I asked the question regarding Vectron and suspension when it was released and it was said already back then that it was not ment to get suspension, unfortunately…

 

DTG JD Btw. in the roadmap article, one of the pictures in the Br 101 section seems to be doubbled.

 

Huge dissapointment that only 3 of DE locos will be upgraded to new suspension. (OBB Talent, BR185.2 and BR624) sadly no Vectron (Vorarlberg) or BR111 (Salzburg - Rossenheim) and what about BR218 - now it have just beta suspension as was mentioned in roadmap… and as we know dovetail with them finishing things up, those locos most likely wont get updated ever.

Main thing that UK content has more than 8 locos upgraded!

 

Can you clarify if the new scotrail class 158 will have timetabled services on the Fife Circle route, or is it now down to scenarios only as described in the road map?

the road map says the class 158 will now predominately feature on edinburgh to glasgow and NOT fife circle, is this correct?

the timetable on Fife Circle is way too poor, it really needed the class 158 to be added, it is an incredible shame if the class 158 is now not available on timetable mode on Fife Circle as originally advertised back when the route was released

 

Why hasn't Trenton's signaling been fixed?

 

Remember the blackpool branches is also just trains content, not dtgs. So on dtgs end of things, it's about the same.

 

Concerning NYT, we have the established problem of cab signals not matching with lineside signals. This typically results is the safety system slowing the train much too early, especially manifested on approach to Trenton or NYP, or at Newark if dispatch beyond is activated, and also when a northbound train switches from track 1 to track 3 to stop at Metro Park. We know from previous statements that the system seems to be checking too far ahead, as per Matt. The recent update makes no mention of the cab signals. Is this a problem where work is going on in the background? Or, are there no plans at the moment?

 

Wondering what the implications for TSW could be regarding the UK passenger network being renationalised. For example how potential future new liveries fit into things, and how the different licenses could be affected after the operator contracts expire.

 

So it’s prototypical for the PIS? I’ve never noticed it on the boards up north for trains going in that direction, maybe it’s a different style of board or something up here.

they added a couple of gesture services to the timetable, and slapped a bit of foliage paint along, consider that all you get. Its Rivet.

 

Is Rivet doing the timetable, or Skyhook?

Because we all know what happens if Rivet are doing it.

 

thanks for the reply JD, while disappointing there's no timetabled class 158 services on release it really is a relief to know they will be present eventually, i appreciate you clearing that up!

 

May I ask why the 380 wasn't available to pre-order on Steam please? Just recently a number of dlc’s haven't had a pre-order option!

 

Alan had said himself that he’s ready to announce what it is but DTG wont allow him to…..so what gives?

 

It's just frustrating at this point. They could/should at least give us something.

 

That is very weird... unless their is something they have noticed that is wrong with the route?
