I’m less interested in where the sounds come from now as I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. From the stream I didn’t notice any glaring issues like poorly looped sounds or audio cutting out etc, whether it came from a 350 or an actual 380 it all sounded high quality and accurate.
Yep, I'm the same. To me, any unit within the Desiro family sound pretty identical (well with the exception of the Class 185s of course!), and from the preview stream the other day the sounds on the 380 sound pretty sharp and spot on.
Hopefully the 380 can be incorporated as AI in Edinburgh on both routes, as Rivet will have to create a new timetable for Fife include the 158 & Leven line, so hopefully it can be added, and then have the timetable “duplicated” onto Edinburgh-Glasgow so that the 170s and 801s show up on there as well. Hopefully they were well advanced with the Leven Line, as I have a hunch that the 158 will be held held until the revised Fife route is ready for release.
Not sure the 380 would be considered rail tour material to be honest. In real life they’d be lucky to sell any tickets lol (saying that there’s always one oddball somewhere that would be up for it). Luckily in TSW you can now « spawn » any train you like in the guise of a rail tour.
In real if they were going down rare track for the class it may sell some tickets. But not many I'd imagine.
I was on the c2c 'Last Blue Train' tour back in March 2010, and surprisingly the train was sold out and packed, and that was formed of a c2c blue Class 357 and a NX livery Class 357!
I know DMU/EMU tours usually run full when it's a farewell tour or a special occasion. I've never done a Unit tour.
I saw dads rail stream on it. Looks amazing and didn't know also that the brakes apply when speed is below a certain speed
Same for me- usa xbox store. I might just wait for the steam release. Time of day determines which platform i can use lmao
So... today is the day. Looking forward to seeing some reviews from fellow console players before the add on is released on Steam.
It will be especially interesting to see how introducing the 380 and new timetable further affects performance, in light of reports and my own experience of Cathcart not running so well after the update. In any event, at best I still see the 380 as a sale or bundle purchase, not full price.
Can someone put a link up l can never find it on Microsoft Store Tried searching various combinations of Train Sim World 4: ScotRail Class 380
Genuinely think this might be the best british EMU so far, my only problem with it so far is the slow throttle
