TrainSim-Dmitri could you explain to me what is actually new about TSW 2020 from what we already have? as we are only getting one new route from what ive read to add to what we have
TrainSim-Dmitri Are the Destination Board for the DB Talent 2 and BR 143 are working with the New Update next month?
“enjoy hundreds of scenarios, service timetables, and jobs to complete around the railway“ Does that mean new scenarios or is it clever word play and the current scenarios, services and “jobs” total up to hundreds...?
Hi Ok trophies aka car collector are not fixed but i have buyed all dlcs. So i get the upgrade free ?? all tsw 2020 content or i have to buy those journeys? or the only free thing is the upgrade to that version?
You get the new features, that havent been specified in detail just yet, as a free patch. The new US DLC route, if you want it, that launches alongside "TSW 2020" is a seperate purchase.
Yes, it’ll be just an updated game with the new features, any new DLC (US route) you’ll be able to buy like everyone else who has TSW base game.
As always any updates to the core of the game you will receive for free, anything like new routes you will have to pay for.
I’m confused People who don’t have TSW Do they get the game as a disc Or do they have to buy the original
Is this an upgrade to the existing TSW, or is this an entirely new product? At around £200 spent so far on TSW 2019 and it's DLC, I'll be dropping the franchise if it is a new product. Could someone please clarify? Thanks
This is a free upgrade to the core of TSW the only thing you would be paying for is any routes you do not have including the new up coming US route.
So after 15th August rapid transit and NEC will be avaible as DLC in Console Stores, cus tsw 2020 hasn’t it?
I'm really excited to see what the new route is. I'd really like it to be something with Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, Santa Fe, or BNSF. Tehachapi Pass would be great, by the way.
I bet the new west coast route is going to be the (former ATSF) Los Angeles to San Diego coast line, or at least a part of it. Why I am saying so? Because Amtrak used to run passenger service on this route (called "San Diegan") between 1979 and 2000 circa with Amfleet passenger cars + a former metroliner cab bringing up the rear (or the front, if leading). Both of them are already available in the game; the only thing left for DTG is designing the locomotive: the F40PH.
Looking forward to the update but wondering if the implementation of the new scoring system will wipe our current progress?
Progress will be compatible however any save states will be lost. This means that if you are partially done with a scenario/service you'll need to finish it before installing the update.
The same is happening with fishing sim world. It’s only a FREE Update, wich gives to the game a different name (TSW 2020).
At this time I have no information to offer you so please stay tuned for announcements closer to release.
Unlike Fishing Sim World pro tour, it seems that this update will not bring any FREE route or loco. I wish at least we can get discounted upgrade on Tees Valley line and Main Coast
Look! You can see DTG Well done ! My doubt is: new enviromental upgrade? new textures? perfomance upgrade, specially on consoles?
Hey good morning I just wanted to ask you I have the TSW disc and I’m very interested in the U.S west cost route and I would like to ask how can I get it if I already got the TSW Version but don’t got the deluxe
Add-Ons are purchased through the PSN store and are downloaded onto your hard drive. As noted in our article this Add-On will be available separately.
I mean, they release an article with everything we need to know, then the forums and social media get flooded with brain dead questions like the ones above, it just boggles the mind.
And others don't understand the concept of "front end" and "content". As in what's being upgraded here is the front end and the bit that loads the content. None of the "DLC" will necessarily change given this front end update
What's the new US DLC route??? Long Island Rail Road is already in the game and I have all those routes that come with TSW2020. Pardon my intelligence but all I see that is new is update on the existing game and new bundle option for new players. If You have current TSW then nothing fundamentally changes (except updated existing routes and gameplay and interface) and all of that is free if you already have TSW and those routes. Exciting anyways. Looking forward to see what's new. Glad to see TSW grow and taking step forward. Progress is always good and even better that all of it is free for current TSW owners.
