Seen some of his streams and he seems quite a chipper guy lol. I do also believe Train Sim TV is part of just trains also. Don't know what he's called though. He said he helped release blackpool branches

Back in December a US loco was removed from the roadmap and is that ever coming back?

He never said that it’s ready. What he said was it is ready to be announced but the overlords at DTG say no!

Here's what matt said in another thread
It wasn't, never planned to do it, nor will we likely get to it unfortunately.

Most likely just hype control, if you announce too early and then run into issues, like SimTrack with the 104, then it causes all sorts of anticlimatic drama and "is it dead" questions.

The situation does kind of tell us it’s DTG who pull the strings, rather than the associates. So if they do have that level of oversight, why is it not being exercised on the likes of Rivet who get away with putting out poor quality items, to have the acolytes come along and defend on the grounds DTG have no control over third parties!

It is genuinely surprising how much Rivet has gotten away with... Fife should not have been allowed to release in the state it's in, looks exactly like a TSW2 route if you removed TOD4. It should at least look as good as Cathcart Circle Remastered does, at a minimum.

We did (sort-of, to the best of our ability) answer this in the Q&A section at the end.

We do cover this in the Q&A section at the end. It's about receiving a functional build - we've been guilty in the past of getting a little over-excited and announcing stuff too early, and there ends up being a lot of work still to do, which doesn't really help anyone.

We generally don't do it for loco Add-ons.

Would recommend you check out the Suspension section of last night's stream. Matt articulates it a lot better than I can responding to a forum thread. It is on our list though.

I really do wonder what the missing US loco that disappeared from the roadmap was? It couldn't have been the M9

Did they address the question I asked about continuing to develop TSW for Win 10, when MS discontinue support next year (and those of us who have potato PC’s need to buy a new box or enough parts to update our current one)?

I will not be switching to Windows 11 on my PC. This is such a cumbersome and complicated system. Some functions from Windows 10 are even missing. No, I'll keep it. But if Microsoft stops supporting it, it should still be running, right?

It will run but no more security or system updates. So basically use at your own risk particularly if using debit or credit cards or anything else that needs to be kept secure. There’s also the issue of whether games developers or even the likes of Steam will continue to support an operating system that’s essentially end of life.

Let's see what happens. But I don't use any cards on the Internet and I don't have online banking either. It's annoying that Microsoft simply stops supporting it and wants to force you to change the system. At that time it was said: “There will be no Windows 11”. But that was obviously a lie.

I'm guessing the Alan Thomson route might be along the GEMMA, or in that vicinity.

    Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe.

l would be absolutely over the moon if this route appeared in the game, with both options, via Stockport and via Styal.
