Hello everyone, I have been pleased to see a recent trend by Dovetail of remastering older routes. I absolutely love the new Cathcart Circle remaster! Another route I would love to see get a remaster is the LGV Méditerranée route. As someone who used to live in Aix-en-Provence, through my local knowledge of the area I see a lot of potential for this route to become less linear than it is. While the TGV Duplex is realy well made, the route is too linear, Marseille is too quiet and the secenary is poor. This route could be a lot better with an extension of the existing line to Valence TGV aswell as the modeling of the classic lines from Valence TGV to Nîmes/Montpellier. Addeded lines from Nîmes/Montpellier to Avignon centre, Avignon Centre to Avignon TGV and Marseille to Gare d'Aix-en-Provence Centre would also be great. This would create more service variety with the TGV and would also enable TER (regional) services to be modelled from Marseille. This would create a much more varied and less linear route similar to South Eastern High-speed. It would be great to add the SNCF Class B 81500 Bi-mode multiple unit which operates most regional services in the area. The modeling of the Aix-en-Provence branch would offer great potential for players to use this train in its diesel mode. I also saw freight trains on the Aix-en-Provence branch using continental European derivatives of the class 66 as locos which would also be great to model. Following on from the positive reception of South Eastern High-speed and Blackpool Branches, it would be great to exploit the potential to make LGV Méditerranée less linear, more exciting with added TOD 4 lighting.
What you're asking for is an extension, not a remaster. Remasters do not include new trains and track.
