Sad news for Titanic enthusiast, i've watched this film lot of times, Bernard Hill was in role of captain Smith.

I watched the film quite a number of times, the first time in year 6, many call it long but I think anything less is pretty short tbh.

    RIP Captain

This. Will always remember his portrayal of the tragi-comic character. RIP.

I can imagine him turning up at the Pearly Gates and saying to St Peter “Gissa Job”

That scene wasn’t included. Pretty sure we only watched certain parts of the film and I think it also required parental forms filled out to watch it. It would have been about 2011-2012

    it’s a PG13 film, surprisingly.

Oh ok.. I'm surprised that Titinic hasn't be re-rated yet although it probably doesn't have enough adult scenes to be re-rated to 15

That must have been a very quick watch! I know this were ten years ago but my daughter works in a school and there is not way they would show large parts of the film, especially in the second half.

yea it mostly focused on the sinking, iceberg and Irish dance, it was part of an old primary school subject called ‘Topic’ in this case the Titanic Sinking.
