I've compiled a spreadsheet for each release addon for tsw, this includes, route acronyms, which platform ( GEN 9 & PC only, for now ) file sizes, available layers, playable layers and *AI/Static layers. All layers are correct as of today 19.10.23. This spreadsheet will be updated per new addon release. are those acronyms based on the ingame formation acronym names or just whatever the community chose? Munich-Augsburg is MAG and Cologne-Aachen is KAH, atleast to me, idk what other people think about it. but A+ for the effort, thank you

For example: Hauptstrecke München – Augsburg: HMA = München-Augsburg Mainline = MAML Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr: HRR = Rhein-Ruhr Mainline = RRML Linke Rheinstrecke: Mainz-Koblenz: LFR ....... hmmmm Nahverkehr Dresden: DRA = Dresden Commuter = DCR Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen: SKA = Cologne-Aachen High Speed = CAHS Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel - Würzburg: SKW = Kassel-Wurzburg High Speed = KWHS But wait a sec, the [EDIT - Jan - Language] used a random character for the acronym. So, it could go ... MÜML RAML DDO CCHS KLHS Brilliyunt!
no... that would be Munich-Augsburg, Kologne-Aachen, Kassel-Würzburg etc. do you see a pattern? 1st letter 1st place name, 2nd and 3rd letter from the second name of the second place of the route. idk why LFR stays Left Rine Line and not Mainz-Koblenz (hoho "MKZ" hoho) but uh. yeah. oh and Dresden-Riesa. wait let me check for Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr which would be Rhine-Ruhr Mainline or something... North Rhine Mainline apparently.
Spoiler: Psst… they are not acronyms I don’t think any of them are acronyms, as an acronym has to be said like a word and not as the letters. NASA is an acronym because you say it as a word and do not say the individual letters but BBC is not an acronym because you just say the letters. As such, the routes have abbreviations but not acronyms. I know, shoot the pedant, but it is true. Anyway, I don’t think that detracts from the initial topic of this thread which was the useful spreadsheet.
Well, MÜML and RAML sound quite funny when spoken in German as an acronym. The rest could very much stand in for polish or czech acronyms. But now for something completely different. Yeeesss, anagrams!
Question - is there anymore information you'd like to see on the spreadsheet? Things like: Release dates? which game a dlc released with? Gen 8 layer versions ? Or happy as is?
I think the file is very helpful as is. But yes, reduced layers overview for the Gen8 consoles would still help a lot of people.

The dates are original dates of release, core releases dates are based on no EA ( Early Access). * Release dates won't be added untill officially announced.
I've honestly never seen this as FFR, I thought it was more of a... FrankfurT Fulda and FT for FlixTrain, or not?
Just the way I've put it for now to fill the gaps. Once DLC are out properly I will go back and change.

The correct acronym for Preston-Blackpool/Ormskirk is PBO, not BPO (principal station first). ECML Peterborough - Doncaster is PBD, not PDB.
I'd spoken with Tom about it and that's what he gave me. PBD is more likely a typo - I'll switch that now.
I don't know where to ask this but quick question. Do i need peak forest railway to get the steam layers for WSR or will just owning SOS still give me those layers?
Here's the details from TSWTracker. SoS does not layer onto WSR, you will need Peak Forest for the main steam layer (93 services).
Wow, was just looking for something like this because it's very difficult to navigate when buying DLC.
Finally getting around to adding some missing file sizes.. oops my bad. To help it more readable, would people prefer if I made separate sheets for each region? by game dev? Let me know
Are you planning to move each route to a separate table sheet and add DLC and layers there? If so, yes, it will improve readability.
