I can't get these 2 scenarios to work.

The lever for forward/back stays on zero and the accelerator also stays on zero.

They have worked before when I played them.

    I play on 64-bit!

GWR Class 14XX Loco Add-On. I do not run steam DLCs so cannot help.

Do you have advanced contols selected in the menu options? I've run an auto coach scenario on this route in the last week with no issues, though not one of those you have listed.

I never run on advanced and do not know where in meny you change that.
    But I'll check later.

Had to enter the steam loco to set the forward/back lever before I could drive.
Have never had to do that before..

I don't know, but I have to throw in my (probably annoying) observation: All fine on my end. Can't reproduce any issues. No need to jump into the locomotive.

Works perfectly. You have to use the bell. "B" key.
    From manual P42 :

    Press B 1time. Start
    a. If stationary or slow the reverser is set to 75%. Brake release remains enabled if already requested.
    b. If moving and over 12mph then reverser is set to 48%, if moving and over 30mph then reverser is set to 22%. Brake release is disabled.
    Press B 2 times. Stop
    a. If in motion the reverser is set to 75%. Brake release is disabled.
    b. If stationary the reverser is set to 0%. Brake release is disabled.
Press B 3 times. Brakes Off
    a. Brake release is enabled and the brake vacuum will not hold steady, steam (and therefore boiler pressure) is used by this until the signal for Start b. or Stop is sent to the fireman.
    ...and accelerator : A + E key or D + E key.
