I was downloading some community made scenario s found a interesting one that is actually the whole Mountain sub route re made after the 1985 floods that washed away parts of the mountain sub aroud Rowlsburg M&K Jct area including the viaduct over the river there and after csx built a new single track bridge as well they single tracked several miles of main west of there there are other things changed in the level including removal of some depots and some signal configurations , I ran a quick drive train from Grafton to M&K Jct i plan on doing the rest to Cumberland to see what else is re done compared to original. I recomend this to anyone who dont know ..
A note also after i downloaded the re made route it actually shows up in my routes cache next to the Mountain sub and it is titled Mountain Sub post 1985 .
Sorry i did not pay attention to any links . It was in with the scenarios down load i thought it was a scenario to play there were 2 item listed as mountain sub post 1985 i just hit download and later i wanted to do a quick drive and when the route selection screen come i saw the regular mtn sub and next to it on another route it had a picture of a early csx train and the title said mountain sub post 1985 then i thought oh a whole revamped route so i clicked it to play and see what differences between the 2 routes..so i did quick drive grafton to m& k jct i also ended up with 2 other revamped routes in my cache that i have not tried out yet 1 was calked Donner Pass redux the second is a yellowhead pass upgraded track and visuals assets someone did ..was surprised they were hidden in the scenario community downloads i..
yep thats it think also you have to own 3 or 4 certain. Routes to get it i have the routes ..the 1 or 2 other scenarios related to this did not show since i dont own yet some of the required locomotive s in that photo
I found some more good or decent freeware routes and scenarios via that steam workshop one series of free route DLC is New York Division its comprmised of NJ transit routes has freight passenger can quick drive on it .another Good route is NJ transit Bergan Co line also found tons of scenarios but at 998 pages of stuff its a lot with that i just did best rated ,most popular then newest after that i dove to page 998 bottom of barrel .
i found that Bessemer and Lake Erie route discontinued on stem and clicked it to see the add on man thats a shame they dont have it saw some add on s that were right in my old back yard i grew up 2 were the Unity branch and the other wasNorth Bessemer Yards i saw the link in the BLE forum on here but probbwoulnt at this point be able to get it since i have issues not savy with files etc
i did hoever write it down for future reference if i find somebody who can help me later like a friend or family member to do the file from railworks.
