PC [mod Download] Tsw 4 And Tsw 3 London Brighton Timetable With Class 700 V1.06 (new Services!)

Great work on this new version. Just drove a ThamesLink down service, 9T07, which was a stopping service past Gatwick, fun in the utmost.

 

Just picked up the Class 700 in the Spring sale. Looking forward to giving this timetable a go.

 

This really has turn into am amazing line with the hard work you have done to it. Great job

 

After long fight and never ending fixing bugs and resimulation the final version of 1.06 is here It got 20 more services since last 1.06b. Livery editor for Class700 FLU is not working yet, same journey mode is not really updated with new services and it is still missing thumbnails. But important is that TT is fully simulated and it include a lot of night services now too. I have to rework some parts to make them better and i make the timetable more ready for 24 loop version... it require still some fixes but its not that bad like before

I did notice that the 700/1’s appear to be overly powerful again. They were perfect after the 1.06b. Not a big deal.

 

I tried taking over the 10:05 Thameslink service to Brighton(I took over the train at Gatwick) and the game told me to lock the doors, which I did but then it didn't progress from that. Even driving out the station the game was still telling me to lock the doors which were already locked.

Not sure if this is an issue with this mod or the game.

 

trainsimcz Is there a possibility to edit the timetable on the PC Editor on my own, because sometimes there is the problem that there is no arrival time for some stations and i want to fix it for me. Unfortunately i can´t find it.

 

You cant find it because there is no possibility to edit that timetable. There is only one option and thats recreate the whole timetable by yourself like i did it with this timetable too. If you give me list of services which are wrong then i can fix that for everybody.

 

Please revert this change, it creates issues with things like XP tracking.

 

Thank you for your answer! I think there is nothing wrong with the timetable. There are many services that just have a departure time and no arrival time. It doesnt affect me and it isn´t terrible or something. It doesn´t make sense to text you the services because every service i played since downloading had this mistake.

It actually could be a mistake which just affects Epic players. But one thing is clear: Your mod works perfectly with Epic except for that little mistake.

Well, this is a nice timetable, but there is a big problem for Gatwick Express services to Brighton. They always get stuck behind a Thameslink service and thus are regularly late.
I believe that the Gatwick Express services must overtake the Thameslink at Haywards Heath.

 

I have also experienced this problem, but don't think that the current AI dispatcher is capable of doing this. Anyway, I still get platinum for the runs.

 

Anyone else having an issue with invisible passengers when this mod is installed? When you go to sit in seats, you can't sit there as they are occupied by pax. Also platforms being really quiet but you keep bumping into things when walking or running on the platform.

Anyone else had this mod stop working entirely? I installed it months ago and it worked beautifully. But now when I load up BML I get no 700 services anywhere. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod but no luck.

Have you tried to verify the game files via Steam? Just a thought.

 

do you have the latest mod version of it? (TSW4-BMLtimetableWith700_v106.zip Train simulators (trainsim.cz))
did you remove the old version or versions? there have been some slight name changes on the mod naming
such as BMLwith700.pak which is old

 

Dovetail broke spawning on foot in all timetables in the summer core update. It will always load the default one. So you now have to start a service and abandone it if you want to play a different or modded timetable on foot.

 

That's it! How in the world did you figure that out?

Well, I finally picked up the Class 700 in the Steam sale. It's not really a unit type I'm interested in, but I bought it purely because of the existence of this mod. The impact the mod has on the Brighton Mainline is absolutely huge. It's a far more enjoyable experience to drive, with so much extra AI traffic, signal checks and new train movements which didn't exist before.

I ran an Up service from Brighton, experiencing stopping at some of the station at the south end of the route which we haven't been able to stop at before. Running along the Quarry line, another Class 700 ran side-by-side on the line from Redhill, and we caught glimpses of it at various points - first on our left, then on our right - until it drew ahead as we were slowed by signals through Hooley. Then, as we got greens and accelerated, we rushed past it as it braked for Coulsdon South.

One of my best TSW experiences to date - thank you trainsimcz for your fantastic work on this mod.

This is a fun timetable to drive. It is so realistically busy that you are getting stuck behind slower, stopping trains as you head in either direction.

 

trainsimcz, are there any plans to update this mod to fix the issues with the invisible passengers? I love the mod but my experience is really hampered because of the passengers issue.

 

Im still working on version 2.0 of this mod which will have 24h loop timetable and not just basic 24 timetable so if you choose service which is going over midnight then you will see other services there too. Right now over midnight services are lonely there, timetable is not looping. So yeah i will check that passenger problem. Just remember that im doing that in my free time so dont expect v 2.0 anytime soon... Right now its 2 months hollidays for my kids so im spending all my free time with my family and not with that game.

As noted, enjoy your family time, I am having loads of fun with the current timetable and this route, old as it is, is my favorite to drive with your timetable and the 700s in place.

 

The dispatcher won't fix that automatically. What you could do is to let the Thameslink service stop at Haywards Heath with a red signal (no dispatch beyond on the go-to instruction) and have the Gatwick express lay in the path so that the Thameslink has to wait.

You can have the Go-to for Gatwick express on Gatwick also be without dispatch-beyond and then add dispatch beyond on the load instruction. That way, the Gatwick express will get the route from Gatwick through Haywards Heath and Thameslink will have to wait in Haywards Heath. But if the player is too slow to Gatwick, then Thameslink will already be on its way from Haywards Heath and you're stuck behind.

 

Ahh, brill. Sorry, I didn't know you were working on a 2.0, I'd just not seen a reply to the bug so didn't know if you'd seen the messages or not. Enjoy your holiday and time with your family.

 

Hopefully this can be implemented in v2.0+ as this is the only downside to this mod, regularly making services late due to the dispatcher not catering for timetables correctly.

 

squerble, don't know how much he can do as far as the ai dispatcher is concerned. This is in the game core I think and Matt has admitted its fairly dumb.

 

You sir are a legend. This route is the best on tsw right now. I have to delete a couple of services here and there because of traffic jams but that's no big deal.

Service 9S10 gets stuck at when trying to get into gatwick. It gets delayed for 10+ mins

 

Hello, I have recently brought TSW 3 as well as the BML London commuter route to go along with it. However I have tried to download the Class 700 timetable to go with it and I can’t seem to get it to work at all in game and I have tried every way possible as far as I know. I also have the Microsoft Xbox version of the game so I’m not even 100% where I should be installing this mod anyway. So if anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

No further updates announced but you will be able to download it for TSW5 on the 17th September.

Wow this makes the brighton mainline much more exciting with more variety in services. How long did it take you to learn how to create the timetable and then actually make it all work?

I'm not too familiar with how many trains run per hour with the class 700 on the brighton main line, but would you say that it's current state is fairly representative of how it would be in real life?

 

For operational fun, this is the best route in TSW with the new timetable that includes the 700s. I have not made many runs on it without finding myself behind another, usually slower, service. The only downside here is the AI signaler can't do Inteligent routing.

I've been using it on tsw5 without any problems.

 

In general, TSW 4 mods work with 5. This one certainly does.
