Just wondering as the WCML is being advertised to include the Overground Lioness line that the 710 will have its own timetable on this route?
There’s a game page which shows the 66, 377, Bakerloo stock & 710 all running with each other so yeah. Even without the image it would be very weird if it wasn’t layered.
I don't think there is anything saying it'll be playable but as said there are certainly layers on the DC line from GOBLIN.
I read somewhere (on the website I guess) that Bakerloo stock is included with the WCML South DLC (great), does it mean that we can run services between Queens Park and Harrow and Wealdstone without having to buy Bakerloo dlc?
Yep sounds like the entire Overground route is there and playable - BUT you need to own Goblin DLC, the 710 itself isn't included with the new route. The 72 stock IS included and the services are playable from Queens Park on (so only the above ground, not the tunnels) even if you don't own the Bakerloo Line DLC. The 350 and 377 are obviously included and playable. I believe a DB red 66 is also included and playable. The 390 is a separate DLC and playable.
That’s very impressive imo. I like the 710 but the issue with goblin is can’t really stretch its legs, almost like an additional route.
I think it’s weird how the 710 is a layer and the tube stock is included. It should have been the other way around. The Overground line is included in its entirety (similar to the S-Bahn on Munich - Augsburg, where it runs on separate tracks but is included in the route) whilst the Bakerloo line is only a short section included.
Also the Overground is an important feature inside Euston whilst the 72 stock is not. Should have been the other way around. Having said that the Goblin/Suffragette is worth the purchase on its own.
Is it? It seems slow and short, and quite repetitive. I’ll have to pick it up for WCML anyway though, so I might give it a go.
I ride it quite a lot as I like to film at Watford Junction. It's much longer than Goblin with many more stations. Also you have many other trains whizzing by on the WCML. You will enjoy it I think.
To me it sounds like a tactic to drive up sales for Goblin line. I'd imagine DTG have squeezed as much money as they can out of Bakerloo so they don't mind throwing it in as a freebie. The Overground's importance to this line is probably exactly why they want you to pay extra. I don't think it's a coincidence that Goblin is one of the routes included in the special edition.
100% this is the reason. And it worked lol. I, myself, will be buying the Suffragette Line for the additional 710 traffic on WCMLS, whereas before TSW5 was revealed I had no intention of getting it. But fingers crossed, it will be discounted during the planes, trains and automobiles fest on Steam, 16 - 23 September.
I noticed sth weird - on the left screen, even if you run DC line, it still shows a pantograph and 25 kV
I managed to get stuck like 10 ft from stop objective at London Euston... no idea if I was going "too fast" or I forgot to acknowledge Vigilance beep (that you dont often get with 710 cos of frequent stops)... but I wasnt able to accelerate... so I switched to AC and crept those like 10 ft lol funny thing is, on next service, same direction, I managed to land like half a foot from the marker... so dunno if before it was a tiny bug, safety thing or what
