Will the 390 and 350 layer onto any older routes (CCL, GL and BCC)? If not, has it been considered and when do we expect it to layer on?

 

Is it still planned for the formation designer to get the ability to load freight wagons?

Is there a fix coming for being unable to download formations from creator's club? Currently they can be subscribed to but not downloaded

Will training centre rolling stock such as the 8F, 16T mineral wagon, brake van, etc get suspension?

Will the ROG 37 be able to drag the class 350 like irl, and are there any drag moves on the timetable?

 

Question for TSW 4:
-Will anymore trains be updated with suspension before or after the release of TSW 5?

Questions for TSW 5:
-Has there been any updates to the way substitution works?

-Have there been any changes to dynamic weather?

-Since there is now an official guard mode, will there now be some sort of AI guard on trains that would have a guard irl? Like the buzzer that goes off whenever you close the doors in the Class 158 & 142. Can you implement this into trains going forward?

-Can the 'New' banner be removed from routes & trains on the selection screen? it's bugged

 

Second this, would bring so much life to BCC in particular. Much needed for New Street.

 

Will there be regional packs, really only interested in UK routes?

 

1. Will among others Kassel-Würzburg and Dresden-Riesa get copied timetables which introduce the ICE T into said timetables? Also, if yes, I hope you thought about that the ICE 3 doesn't actually run on DRA, and by thus the ICE T is a much more realistic choice and to replace the ICE 3, instead of adding ICE T services.

2. Do the 2 new Vectrons have gotten a sound update, or is it the same as the Railpool one? And is the DB Vectron compatible with the IC coaches from the Expert 101 (meaning, of course, that the doors open/get unlocked on the correct side)? I can imagine the Flixtrain one being, but the DB one would perhaps oddly fit into IC services, even if that never happened irl.

3. I have seen in one image that an ICE 1 runs on the Frankfurt-Fulda line. Will there be ICE 3 services aswell?

Will the back catalogue be available for the early access. Or will we have to wait until the 17th of September. I think if I’ve read well the back catalogue will be available for steam or epic for the early access. So if I get the early access on Xbox or PlayStation will I be able to download all my back catalogue on the same day for early access. Tsw3 and 4 I had to wait. Until releases I am just wondering on that

 

Exactly what value does the inclusion of Cajon Pass bring to US fans buying the deluxe edition for $75, as most of us probably already own the route?

Very important question (for probably more than 15 of us) - How will the PC editor transfer work? I read in the FAQ that there will be a TSW5 version of the editor, does that mean that I just have to download a new editor and copy my TSW4 editor-files in there and then everything works perfectly and with the new features or will there be a certain procedure that will be explained around the 17th.

(And please don´t say we should just give up.)

 

1. Will the Xbox Series X version of TSW5 have the same/similar draw distance to the PS5 or is it going to be held back by the requirements of the Series S again?

2. For route hop: does it take into account the time of day/weather? I.E. if I am at LA Union at 9am and its raining on Antelope Valley and hop to San Bernardino will it still be 9am and raining? EDIT - Has been answered on forum by DTG members - YES.

3. Route hop: with the new focus on making routes feel "connected" are there plans to bring new stock into the older routes, ie adding the Metrolink traffic to Cajon Pass's version of San Bernardino? Bringing WCML layers to Bakerloo? etc.

4. Will there be any delay in DLC rollout on the PlayStation platform? If so how long will it be before all prior owned DLC will be available for download on PS TSW5?

5. Are the 101 layers on German routes going forward going to use the original 101 or the expert version? And/or will they come with duplicated timetables for both?

6. Are there any general plans to layer the new stock into older routes: ie the 390 on BCC, Glossop, Glasgow... will the MP36 work on Antelope Valley, etc. EDIT - Answered by DTG staff in forum, NO.

 

Will The ICE T Layer onto Dresden Riesa and/Or Salzburg Rosenheim?

 

They already said that in the stream, yes.

 

I realize I'm looking a little too far into the future, however apparently there are only recycled trains on the Mannheim-Kaiserslautern route.
Can we make the effort to add at least a couple of new freight cars?

I doubt that as the ICE-T has two whole services on that route. one driving through rosenheim and one stopping there for 2 minutes. making the total time an ICE-T is on that route about 6 minutes.

 

Since the Kinzigtalbahn features the mighty busy Frankfurt Main Station, I´d want to ask about layers/substitution:

1. What locos will be able to substitue into the BR 114 RE´s? (Please 111´s, as I´m a big fan of them! )

2. Will there be a 2nd timetable to make full use of the magnicifent BR 101 Expert? Or is it at least planned on TSG´s end?

 

I notice that the GWE remaster is now set in 2017, the year that IETs were introduced. Is that a purposeful decision so that HSTs could still be the main high speed train or will there be an option to purchase a GWR branded IET to run on the route.

 

What rolling stock will be included in the Cardiff route?

 

It's still set in 2015-2016 that part was not changed.

Is the free starter pack available to users of TSW2020, TSW2 and TSW3? If so you might want to put some advertising on Steam - nobody is talking about it. There is plenty discussion in the TSW4 forum, but nothing for TSW2020, TSW2 or TSW3.

How exactly did you create the tilting on the class 390, was it quite a challenge? Or relatively easy?
And did the addition of suspension make that easier?
Does the pendo have layers to routes such as Cathcart? Since there was services in the timetable for it as seen in the screenshots
Was the class 380/350 made alongside one another? Being 2 very similar units, it makes sense that one could've been made, then used the sounds, physics etc to make the other
How many services are there in total on WCML south?

 

As Class 350/1s are included in the upcoming WCML add on and with a busy time table there is only 30 in that subclass, will a similar situation to the BML 377 happen where the 377/4s were also numbered as 377/1s, so for example will the 350 be numbered in the 350/3 or 350/4 range without the subtle subclass differences to cater for the full range of the WCML time table?

 

Will Ludwigstalbahn feature a new loco?
Since its set in 2014 a Flirt 3 or Dosto Cab Gen 3 would be nice instead of a reused 425 and Ice 3.
If its not possible to talk about what exact loco, then just if theres going to be a new one?

I would like DTG to answer this question. Why do we need a new game TSW5? Please explain the reason why and the benefits to having it, rather than continuing TSW4 and upgrading that.

l live in an extremely slow internet area on the top of a hill and far from the nearest sub station. I have only recently finished transferring all my TSW3 content and now l have to redownload my TSW4 content when TSW5. Not only is TSW5 expensive but having to buy a new hard drive to as the game and all the massive upgrades eat into it.

lf DTG have a fast internet, then please can l visit you with my computerand xbox machines!
I have no objection to a new game if we don’t have the aggravating and laborious tasks of having to install over a 100 products into my PC and Xbox every year.

 

Will the main menu/UI receive any changes, or will it mainly just be the same UI from TSW 3/4?

 

Will everything announced as TSW5 features be available at launch?

 

Any updates on the SEHS AI PIS bug? I know it was fixed, but it remains an issue on the Class 465, Matt knows what I’m talking about.

 

On another note, when you set the time to between 10am and 10.59am, on the Javelin it becomes 1?: (question mark is where the 0 should be, but isn't).

 

Have you set a minimum feature list/"blueprint" for all future first- and third-party route development, so that features such as guard mode, etc., become mandatory for all future routes. Otherwise I fear these improvements will be something we see on a few routes, e.g. only the launch ones, then disappear; or they are only a part of first-party routes, but no third-party dev includes the newer features.

In other words, I think a standard should now be set for TSW development, including if it's true about improved rail shadow draw-in, I'd hate to see that kind of improvement only on some new routes, not others.
