Will it actually be possible to deactivate this with the screen that you can zoom in?

As to planes... despite is not part of these new routes, ... what about the "Beluga" on Rapid Transit one?.
Considering the new license, DTG got from Airbus..., it could be nice if it is repainted on Airbus current new livery too!.

Has there been any update or change to Quick Play in TSW5? Currently, it mostly scenarios(for me anyway), which is fine, but I would appreciate more variety, with more timetable drives being included. Is there any improvement in this regard in the new release?

I love some of the new routes! Particularly the new MBTA, Dutch, Cardiff and of course the WCML routes. As I'm sure you are bombarded with route suggestions, I will only suggest minor changes that I see doable with what's on hand.

For the Cathcart Circle route, I would buy it if a package was available with the class 380. Otherwise, buying both separately is pricey.

I would also love to see the class 377 go to East Croydon. There would only need to be a few stations added, which makes the route doable to recreate with plenty of content that is already available. Currently, I feel like the route is incomplete on the WCML, as it only travels to a few stations.

I am thrilled to hear about the GWE route remaster, but would also like to see class 801s as a present day option. I don't Currently own this route but would consider it if it were up to present day standards.

Thank you for creating this great content and I'm excited to continue to enjoy this game!

It's much harder for dtg to remake each timetable to add in the services so they can't bring it to all content.

Nice and speaking of WCML Class 377/2 what routes can it run on besides WCML South? What WCML should have gotten as freight loco is a Class 90/92 325 mail units.

Well, I had finally read all the news, a lot of things this time too, as the last year!
Surely I'll buy the new version, the only thing is, which one?

Cathcart was remastered and given away for free to those who already own it. The 380 covers the cost of making the route and the loco itself. If you don't own Cathcart, not unreasonable to have to buy it.

The 377s on WCML continue to East Croydon via the BML route (starting from Clapham Junction). It also wasn't the focus of the WCML route (that goes to the 350).

    GWR don't operate 801s.

Ngl, for the Dutch route I am hyped but I hope they will give the ICM the function to open up the nose (tho I know it is set somewhere in the modern time)
Hope we will also see the SGMm (Vlaflip) sprinter and the SLT

"Cardiff City Network – TSW's first Welsh route!
Spoorlijn Zwolle – Groningen – TSW's first Dutch route!
Update on Tadami Line from Union Workshop – TSW's first Japanese route!"

I will buy them, no matter what quality they turn out to be, because I am stupidly tired of the triangle US-UK-GER....You can call me a DTG fanboy, but I just want variety, kek)

Me: "Licensors can't held DTG liable for modders' actions."
Forum: "No! You are stupid! Modders made a forbidden livery for GWE, now there will be no GWE products!"

    GWE remaster announced.

What do you mean? The new liveries on GWE are unbranded liveries and so don't require a license and a remaster is an update not a new product.

That's part of my point. In the end, I was right all along. You all just have no idea what you are talking about. No legal or business knowledge. No legal or business experience.

You say about GWE getting no new products, and it hasn't, remaster is an update, not new content. Perhaps it would be useful if you explained yourself better before jumping in the deep end calling the whole forum stupid. Oh and speaking of, that is a sweeping statement as I am sure many on here couldn't give a monkeys what you said originally, didn't see it, or had no particular opinion.

Perhaps it would have been useful for your comment to specify that it were only some of the forum who had no idea what they are talking about, rather than the statement aimed at a whole forum. Just because I know some Welsh people who aren't clever doesn't mean I go into Wales and say they are all stupid, because they are not. Ok not the best group to use as an example I suppose!;)

It’s a 50/50. Sometimes people are right in what they say sometimes they aren’t. The only case I know some people were wrong about was how they thought GWE was too old to get anything done to it.

Oh, there definitely are reasonable and smart people on this forum. But they are sadly not the most vocal ones. I wish more people would stand up for the interest of community when it's not aligned with the interest of licensors. Those who trade freedom, truth, and justice for peace and safety, will get none of the five.
And for those who think it's impossible, here's an example. The reason a certain truck simulator has real models is because the fans flooded the truck OEMs with emails begging for licensing. That's a strong, active community. Here people seem to be treating any form of standing up as a dissent.

DTG heavily discourage their customers from badgering train companies to have them appear in the game.

Also I think there’s still a good amount they can do with the licences they have now.

Fair dos on the rest of your comment, no point arguing against such a highly subjective thing.

However, I have highlighted this part of the comment as I can assure you, that this is not a thing that should be done. Badgering TOCs to give licenses will not go down well, with DTG or the TOCs. Each TOC will have their own specific thoughts on the topic, which will not be changed by people in a sim community sending begging emails. This should be left to the professionals within the DTG licensing department as they know what they are doing and are the ones that need to build the relationship, not mouthy sods who are fans of the game.

    Not exactly.
    DR 212 -> DB 112
    DR 243 -> DB 143

112.0 did get new name 114 when moved from DB Fernverkehr to DB Regio. 112.0 have the look of 143.
112.1 is the one we have on Hamburg Lübeck with the smaller lights.
There have been just a few 143 that became 114 because they were modded to higher speed 140/160kph instead of the usual 120kph.

Regarding the Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: until a few years ago the museum at Neustadt Weinstraße Hbf was in possesion of BR103-220. the very colorful Touristik-Express one. Maybe as a little easter egg it could be implemented to be standing on the track in front of the museum?

It's been many years since I've been there so I'm not sure what they have (had) on display, but I'd like if DTG do something similar to Freilassing on Salzburg-Rosenheim and have at least one vintage loco standing around.

No, the price is the price. It's not made up of individual prices for each route.

I think a lot of us believe they should. The inclusion of CJP, a TSW3 route among a bunch of TSW5 dlc is either very shrewd or wily like a fox, depending on your level of cynicism.

Related to planes of the sim, I got some pictures of the one we already have: The Airbus Beluga plane on Rapid Transit route.
It is really "tough" to see it!
I had already posted some pictures some years ago, but now as I have the PS5, it looks much better and very detailed.

TSW - BELUGA PLANE RAPID TRANSIT.jpg

TSW - BELUGA PLANE RAPID TRANSIT 2.jpg

There are also planes on TGV route, but DTG it has indicated that there are some planes on East Coast LNER route too, above a station.
I went there, and wait for 15 minutes, and nothing happened.
I heard some planes noise, but did not see anyone, even I look around above the sky, and even made zoom in.

    Have anyone see them?

Is there any chance in the future of maps outside of Europe and the US? Say New Zealand or Australia?

There are a lot of awesome lines out there that don't consist of the same stuff. xD

  47. Spikee1975

Not on the roadmap, so not in the foreseeable future. Would need a local developer to do these. We have New Zealand Midland Line in Train Simulator Classic, made by New Zealand Train Simulator Workshop (NZTSWS). There is no sign of that dev moving to TSW.

Plus as discussed when these suggestions pop up from time to time, so far as Australia is concerned the main focus was the several huge routes done for MSTS where the developers have vanished into the night, or Trainz. Even there only a handful of committed builders are really doing anything like the massive NSW network. Just a shame driving in Trainz is such a LOVE experience. But again, can’t see them jumping ship to TSW where the route editor requires a whole different level of competence than Trainz Surveyor. Again, as previously covered is still largely crippled by DTG who really just want to test the water to bring in people to outsource their projects to, not community freeware.
