    Hi DGT I have been asking for this route for awhile now I love to have the Leeds via Harrogate to York for awhile now but I like to add as a Route extension I love to see it in the Game having my local route in the Game will be excellent as I found of northern rail and LNER as you all ready have the class 150 and the class 170 and 158 in game that will needs to be change to Northern livery From Harrogate to London Kings Cross class 800 9 car and two 5 cars units to make a 10 Car unit as they are bio mode train's
    I like to see the Class 91 aka 225 in game
    I like to Northern and LNER in the Game this
    will probably be a long route
    York Poppleton Hamilton cattle, Knaresborough Starbeck Harrogate, Hornbeam Park panel, Wheaton Horsforth, Headingley, Burley Park Leeds
    the Harrogate line is
    Distance
    14 miles (22 km)

    and the full ECML
    Distance
    169 miles (272 km) from Leeds to London

    Depots

    for the Northern end of the line for the ECML Leeds, Wakefield, Westgate, Doncaster and for the Southern end of the line Peterborough, Stevenage London, King’s Cross
    as we all ready have Donny to Peterborough
    do this as a free update and charger for DLC Pack £30
    Class 91 225
    Class 802 Hull Train's London To Donny
    class 180 to Donny
    221 super voyager to Donny
    class 803 Lumo as Ai
    Class 700/1 12 car
    Class 387/1 as AI
    class 717 6 car
    Class 397 LNER
    Northern 150/158/170 livery's

    Agreed. I think the release should have included the London section. This would have given us more options for local services.

    Can't have Lumo or Hull Trains. They're owned by First who don't want to give a license (which is why their services on ECML are represented as LNER).

    Also, an extension to London (which is too long in itself) and Leeds won't happen.

    I highly doubt that any route extensions will happen for numerous reasons stated over time, both on streams and forums.

    That being said, IF some kind of extension were to happen (Emphasis on the ‘if’) then part of me honestly thinks that the East Coast Mainline up to Leeds or perhaps even York would be a strong number one contender.

    If we do see a route down to Kings Cross from Peterborough then I’m almost certain it would be a completely separate route.

    I feel that the best way to extend ECML would be to do Doncaster to York (Direct) and Doncaster to York via Leeds to get some commuter services mixed in for those with less time on their hands.
    You would utilise the class 801, maybe an 800, the highly requested class 91 and mark 4 coaches, plus a 195 for Northern services.
    This way offers the most variety to players similar to the original suggestion.

    First Group is the majority stakeholder (70%) in Avanti, who have given DTG a license. Trenitalia owns the remaining 30%. Hopefully this is a sign DTG<->First relations are improving.

    Or most likely knowing them would extend from Peterborough to Stevenage as the other alternative.

    I have a feeling they gave the license for Avanti to create positivity with the brand. Avanti don't have a good reputation at the moment.

    Is there any insight as to why First have switched up like this with the licensing? Like why DTG suddenly can’t use their branding with GWR for example

    With GWR it was a case of the license simply expiring when FGW rebranded to GWR and just not getting around to being renewed.

    Avanti has been in the game for a while as a logo in livery designer so I think it might have been in the works for some time

    Shame that first don't wanna budge, but that atleast explains the unlicensed class 43 on GWE Remaster screenshot. I really like first trains and their liveries too. And Hull trains are an operator dear to my own heart (living in Hull for years)
