Suspension is said in the Dovetail Direct to be a standard feature for all TSW 5 locos, so does that mean the following will get suspension: WCML - Class 377, 1972 Stock San Bernadino Line - F125 Or is it only the 'main' train (Class 350, MP36PH-3C) that gets it? Also, will training centre rolling stock such as the 8F, 16T mineral wagon, brake van, etc get suspension?
Agreed, although I seem to recall a comment being made somewhere about 3rd party DLC being the responsibility of the creator, and so some co-ordination might be required.
Inconsistency is my biggest fear for TSW5. I think the suspension update we have now gives a good glimpse of the inconsistency we are going to see in routes in TSW5. I feel like I'm overreacting on suspension but trains without it feel broken to me. It's just a bounce but I fell in love with it
Matt was asked about this in the roadmap stream and he said they had no plans to bring it back to all TSW 4 trains unfortunately, just all trains going forward
Very simple, "going forward all TSW5 trains will have suspension" to quote Matt Peddalsden from DTG if I am not mistaken? However, when we were all using TSW3 DTG did a live stream about TSW4 and I think they MAY have mentioned suspension in passing, once or twice? So, does that answer your question?
Correct, 350 and 72 stock won't have suspension at day 1 as it was disabled due to them "falling off the track" (paraphrased) as said by Matt on the stream, but will be added in a patch after release (no ETA given)
