What is the the top speed of the Pendolino at the WCML?

 

Will the new WCML rolling stock appear as AI in the Bakerloo dlc?

 

Will the class 710 be available in early access on Xbox Series X? I already own the Suffragette line.

Technically the fast moving camera is still there on console, if you plug in a keyboard and hold shift. I guess the issue is that there is no corresponding button on the controller (which is how 90% of console owners probably play).

 

Till TSW3 we had to press The left stick only and we were at feast moving external camera. I don't think that it will be such a big thing for reinstate that feature. We had that from TSW to TSW3 the whole time.

Did you include the "cruise control" feature in the Pendolino?

 

Can DTG publish an excel file or PDF of the timetable for the route please? Could be after release if needs be. This would be good so we can see calls and times and locos. Ideally include loco (+ 9 vs 11 car etc.), stops, times, ecs etc.

will the 377 be a modified version of either BML or ECW 's 377 or a new build? also will the 377's horn issue (on xbox on BML) be fixed?

 

1) Who built the route? Was it DTG or another studio?
2) Who made the timetable?
3) Have the sections that we have seen before been lifted exactly as they were in their TSW2 days, or have they been improved and brought up to modern standards? Are the same areas out of bounds and inaccessible etc as they were previously?
4) Will all the included units have working suspension, GSM-R, passengers getting on and off etc on release day?
5) Can we see the route at night? Is it up to modern standards, or is it a pitch black hole like Cathcart Circle still is?
5) Does the PIS work correctly both on the units and stations, and does it include off route calling points?

Really looking forward to this route given how good it was (eventually) in TSC. It goes without saying it’s too short (particularly compared to the Euston - Birmingham offering in TSC) so I hope justice has really been done to the relatively short section we’re getting. Given where this game is in its cycle (7th iteration, at least 7 or 8 years into its development) I’m expecting it to at least match, but hopefully comfortably exceed, the standard of ECML.

 

Why no gaurd mode on the pendolino? I was very much looking forward to that. Are you gonna implement it in the future then?

 

How many playable services does the timetable have with all layers?
Has there been any improvements to the Class 377 and LU 72 stock compared to their previous appearances in TSW?

Lastly, I would like to build on what Vern posted earlier about a demonstration of sound as it seems like a great idea. Can you create a Youtube video showing of the sounds of the trains similar to how AP does it? It usually feels a bit awkward when you stop talking during the stream to listen to the sounds and it often doesn't capture enough of the audio.

In regards to this route, and what you’ve previously disclosed to us about the LAMPOIL mantra (that you use to help guide development of routes), how highly did this route score (if that’s what you call it) when you first began prospecting ideas for it. Does an add-on with an exceptionally high LAMPOIL score get a fast track towards development too?

Like on SEHS and ECML, will both normal and reduced timetables be available to select for those running Gen 8 versions of the game? I run the PS4 version of TSW on PS5 so such a feature would greatly enhance the experience for those like me.

1. Is it possible to open the coupler hatch door and extend the coupler? If so, how have you handled closing it again as this is something only done on depot manually (the sensitive edge and door close circuits were taken out a very long time ago)
2. Are TASS and Tilt individually able to be isolated, as they are two separate systems.
3. Does SDO work on the 11 car sets, both through TASS (don't think there are any stations on this route which require it though) and through the manual SDO switch.
4. Is the proper key in procedure used (set to on and then into forward, awaiting TASS to pass self test before going to neutral)
5. If the set is cold started, does the tilt do the self test "shimey" after keying in?

 

Is there a railtour layer for the 87 and Mk3a's?

 

When Just Train's own WCML route comes out with the 86 + Mk3's, will they be layered onto the DTG WCML either as a railtour, a layer to represent the Intercity services from last year or will it not be layered in at all?

What has it been like to work with Avanti West Coast on the class 390?

 

Will the London Overground 710 stock be accessible during the early access period for deluxe and special edition owners, or will they have to wait until the game launches on September 17th?

 

If on PC and own the suffragette line then content from tsw4 will be available on the 12th for early access otherwise if on consoles then would be the 17th

Will ECS/de-icing moves to Kilburn High Road with the 1972 Stock be included with the timetable? Additionally, will we see the new journeys silver 1972 Stock reaching Watford Junction on rail tour services, and will the bay platform at Willesden Junction be used by London Overground services?

 

Can you talk about what went wrong with the LNWR licensing?

Can you talk about how licensing fits into the overall project management process?

We've had several examples since the launch of TSW4 of licensing "snags": LIRR2 last-minute changes, GWE Remaster coming with unbranded stock, SBB Licensing restrictions, and now the loss of LNWR (or you never really had it? The wording was a little confusing tbh)- how confident can players be that TSW will continue to be a licensed product going forward?

 

It would be interesting to hear what happened but they won’t say, it’s quite surprising WMT would withdraw licensing considering the access they got with Birmingham Cross City.

In any case I was quite excited for TSW5 but considering the majority of stations & services are made up of LNWR branding, Its let me down quite a lot & I’m not entirely sure I want a majority unbranded WCML.

 

Sorry, what? They have not got the licence for LNWR and are making a headline TSW route with unbranded trains? Seriously? Sorry for the questions but I have not seen this mentioned anywhere up to now.

yeah, i was maybe hoping for it during a post-release update? probaly not but i can still get my hopes up.

I would guess that it’s likely something to do with the creation of Great British Rail, assuming that might ever happen. I can’t understand the way the rail industry deals with this sort of stuff but it is what it is.

I would also guess PC players won’t be without it for long.

yeah its a bit weird, what i normally do is hold my controller above my keyboard (when wanring to use shift) . hold it noramlly but stick my pinky finger down on shift and thtat works.

 

Wow terrible news for the branding... guess it isn't DTG's fault but pretty sh*tty of LNWR to give licensing and then revoke it.

most probably because it's a commuter route for the 350 not a long route for the 390, the 390 is extra
