Final wrap up of a basic level of scenery at Angerstein Wharf means you can now approach the area with more to see rather than end/start any scenarios at the loop (near the stopboard).
Shame there dont seem to be so many scenarios for the new part of the route - when the original came out there were so many!!
Custom/reskinned signs coming soon, to those stations that don't have them yet. It will be released as soon as I'm done adding them. (Default KHS Swanscombe and Northfleet won't be remastered until June). The reskins will come as a seperate download away from the workshop. Reskinned by LP, credits goes to them:
Reskinned signs for the route made by LP can be downloaded here: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c1-train-sim-classic/c80-assets/i4746-southeastern-network-sign-reskin-pack The steam workshop should update the route automatically.
Out of surprise, unless you already have known about it, I have been given the reins of making The Grain Island Branch for Southeastern Network, a freight only branch that spurs off of Hoo Junction Yard to the north to the Isle of Grain. This branch will come in handy for any freight lovers and also the recently released North Kent Line and the other future Southeastern Metro loop lines. Made a very very quick video showing the 2-ish miles of it completed so far in a 56 (there is a few bits of the drive that is not finished yet).
When it releases I might make a version of the route with the reopened Sharnal Street, even if it ends up not happening in reality.
Nice to see you here georgefirmage looking forward to this addition to an already great route project.
A tiny update has been uploaded. The CTD issues around Northfleet should be fixed now. A troublesome distant tile might've been the culprit. Please tell me if the issue persists.
Its me again!! I am still working on the Grain Island Branch for the route, but due to being busy with other TSC route building projects and also just life the branch line will consist of two parts/phases, whatever you wanna call it (I have been allowed to do this whilst I finish off my other projects). The first part of the route will come out with the next phase of the whole route. The section will be from Hoo Junction to Cliffe Brett Aggregate Plant which is about 2/3 miles of the 10 miles total. Some screenies of it being 98% complete! Any feedback will be appreciated (I am trying to figure out how to fade between the grass on the marshes and the flat textures without decreasing performance)
The screenshots look very nice. When it releases I may clone the route and make a version with the new station that may or may never be built.
Nice are you doing the Gain Oil line too as get lots of Oil trains too plus the The Sidcup Line need to be made too
During the next update to the route, it wont have it that far yet. I will start that bit of the branch once my other large project is finished with
After just discovering TSC and downloading this, I am honestly blown away by your level of dedication to building this. I could never have dreamed of playing my local route on TSW, until now with your creation. Quick question, are there any scenarios for this that don’t evolve having the AP mods? I checked AS and all their scenarios include AP mods which I don’t have. I only have RW Enhancer 2 right now. Thanks.
Is it just the Bexleyheath line that is coming in the next update to this or is the Sidcup line being done as well
will there be an extension from Faversham to Ramsgate & Dover Priory? Merge with the (Chatham Main Line: London Victoria & Blackfriars - Dover & Ramsgate Route)
I believe that the route beyond Faversham was intentionally removed (the route is based on the extended Chatham Main Line) as there were performance issues with the route.
