Db Br 187 - First Screenshots

Here you have a video of the real locomotive, and on some parts of it, you can hear it's real sounds.

 

Same here, but after I have seen what they have done with it, I got it refunded. Resisting buying it again was pretty easy, as I think it was a rip off in the state it was in…

 

Is the headlight also fixed, it seems like not. Can anyone confirm?

 

All in TSW3 only. TSW2 apparently will follow soon. But no mention of a fix for the BR187 A Long First Trip achievement/trophy.

Yesterday BR 187 TSW3 compatible version, was available for download.

I got it, and despite the "strange" sound - at least different from the 185 - , AFB, PZB "seems" to work properly.

The different color of the locomotive type number and the specific unit one, was not fixed.

The issue about you open the door, get out of the locomotive, and walk some meters ago, and look back, and then the door is closed, is still there!
When you get near the locomotive then suddenly opens.
It is is not a big issue, as it does not affect the locomotive functionality. It is just a visual problem.

But in general it is better than before.

Also there is the issue, you can not get the repaints from Creator's Hub of this locomotive - and others.
I mean you check CH and they are there, - imported from TSW2 -, but not appears to be selected to drive them.

 

I personally think the sounds are a bit to loud (especially if you are wearing headphones).
So perhaps they could be re edited to have the overall recorded sound a bit lower.
Other than that its better than the previous version of sounds.

I’m having AFB issues with the 187 on the latest TSW3 version.

Basically AFB works fine once I turn it on, but I can’t turn it back off and get manual throttle back. Once AFB is on and then turned back off the manual throttle/combined handle no longer works to increase throttle so the only way to keep train moving is it turn AFB on until the end of the service. Ticket put in for that.

 

I have a different issue, when I turn on AFB, I can’t move the loco, brakes trigger when the AFB trottle is set to the MAX

 

Has anybody tried the 187 on SKW? I am curious if LZB actually works properly…

 

It works yes, sometimes u need to help it to slow down deff on when you're going downhill, but beside that it works properly

 

That's prototypical.

 

The key issue there, is you do not have to set the throttle to MAX!.
Just around 4 or 5 on the throttle will be enough.
But you have to wait around 1 minute - depending of the train you have at the back - to start moving.

 

That's an impressive number of services, but will any of them involve shunting?

I tried it, and unfortunately no, it doesn't. Hopefully they'll release an updated version of it soon, or even better, a bi-mode Vectron.

 

DB 187s don't have the last mile feature. It's a customer option.

 

Chance of getting update (or even fixing bugs) to old DLC’s reaches zero. That’s how it is. Only chance is that it gains standalone Expert DLC, like BR101 got. Next Expert loco is in process (DTG Lukas said on Gamescom) , but nobody knows what machine that going to be, propably we don’t even know if TSG is working on that next Expert locomotive, so not sure thing it’s going to be a another German loco (I wish it is German loco, I’m 100% sure that DE content is giving much more additional value than UK or US thanks to safety systems and signaling that is much more complex than any other in game)
