If my trembling fingers and hand tap the ctrlr Triangle, on the Class 700 i pop right out of the driver cmpartment. It is dsastrous for me, as i must try to use the cntroller to get t the door and d a one click to open the driver compartment and then navigate to my seat. It feels like mockery of my handicap. It makes me mad. pleae let an immediate retap of that Triangle button put me back where i was. On other platforms, i can replace E with Sh-E to make the E key less disastrous under, say, PZB restrictions In many locos leavng the cab while running thrw on the brakes. I do use a BT keyboard with my PS5 but i cannot control it.
May I suggest that your condition is simply affecting your ability to use a controller, rather than DTG mocking you.
Ordinarily, I would recommend a keyboard, since Ctrl+0 will teleport you straight back to your seat no matter where you are. However, you have mentioned that this is not possible. As for the issue with the brakes, On UK locos, you can simply not activate the DSD. Vigilance is a separate system that requires the driver to acknowledge an alarm every 60 seconds, but the driver's safety device is just having your foot on the pedal. For units like the London Underground 72 stock, this is unfortunately not possible, since the Deadman's handle is not optional. I don't have the Class 700, but from Youtube footage, it seems like you can turn on the Vigilance separately to the DSD, which should prevent the brakes from applying: Someone tell me if the DSD is actually simulated in the 700...
have you tried the Access controller for PS5? I'm not sure if you would be able to prevent double tapping but it has options to configure button presses to prevent accidental pressing.
