Ofcource it has announcements and much better sounds. Why not for us, DTG? I mean "Is this the same TSW?". Meh, I need to learn how make a better titles.
Well licensing is one reason why announcements aren't in routes. I do agree that routes should have announcements. DTG said they were working on that but whether it will be a standard feature in the future is anyone's guess
It is the museum's simulator after all, not dtgs using tsw footage so of course there's better sound and announcements
Is this the same version we play? If this is a special version that DTG gave to the training hall, why don’t we have it? I started thinking, the answer is "money". Only money can have such magic. If it’s not provided by DTG, then who else?
There are announcements on some routes (like Fife Circle I think) with some trains and some runs. Not every one does or should have them. There are even some "hidden" ones that I've found like on the 142 on Blackpool, if you click on the intercom as the driver you get an announcement but it's not automatic. Towards the future.... shouldn't that be something that the new "conductor/guard" mode does? Besides opening doors and scooting baggage under the seat, you can make stop announcements. Not sure if it's in game to do that, but you can always just yell "NEXT STOP PRESTON!" at the top of your voice and scare the dog and missus.... it's called "immersion!" ;-)
When was the last time you played LIRR? The M7 sounds in that sim are the exact same sounds we have in the M7 and M7a
Like 3 days ago. No, it doesn't. Sounds on M7 become better with LIRR 2.0, but on the topic video it's significantly better. Safety systems sounds are extremely different, much better motor sounds, better joint sounds(or at least it become hearable at every speed, not at low speed only). And the joint sounds starts playing at the start of the switch(not only at the rails intersection), which we will wait until forever in TSW.
