Finally we just can click a screen and we get the screen in front of us. I wanted this feature already since I first boarded the ICE train for the first time in the TSW2 base game so this is a very nice upgrade. But I really hope they go back to do this with every loco with digital display screens. Every new player to TSW will think the screens on the old loco's are broken.
Makes sense if it is a core game upgrade then it should just pull the data from the individual route loco. Nice little feature can’t wait to use it.
I don't particularly feel like quoting Matt because he'll get a notification. Have a screenshot instead!
probably great idea. Saw post on forum that he was still up posting gone 2am this morning. So good to see so many of dtg team actively responding in threads over last 12 hours. Shout out to Liam in the GWE REMASTER thread especially
The God mode mod has a option to add a moveable, resizeable, pop out window Of a locos digital display. Unfortunately with the mod the window can stop updating so it's stops displaying real time information. Nor can you interact with it. Would love some thing love like this come to the base game once could instead of the default HUD. But have it interacteable with the mouse as well. Most locos have all the information you need in the digital display. So woks be better suits then the hud.
Now that we can click the screen to open it will the screens be removed from camera view allowing faster cycling between camera view?
Am I missing something? When you click a screen it will zoom in but you can't select anything? Wasn't this supposed to work with d-pad?
Same problem PS5, I posted this issue in Troubleshooting Issues and yet to get a reply from DTG. In the FAQ it states there should be a cursor you move around to select things however it does not appear to be there.
Thanks - replied in another thread logging this issue, but it's something we've shared with the team.
It's a known issue but probably one of the biggest bummers to me off the TSW5 experience. Finally screens would work and you would be able to easily control with a controller. It was announced as one of the major improvements. And here I'm trying to point at a small button whilst improved suspension is making the screens move even more.
All trains from TSW4 onwards*. I'm still giving them time. I would rather they took the time to get it right than rush out a broken product. If that means staggered releases over a year after it was announced, so be it.
