    I am wondering, did dtg re model this train soley for the short run on wcml? or is there maybe a route in the works that will utilise this unit in the future?

    No further plans at this time to use it, no. We thought it would add a bit of extra variety and traffic to the line relatively easily.

    The only Southern route I want to see is the Oxted Lines with Thumpers or the pre electrification Hastings Line with, erm, Hastings DEMU's! :)

    Rather have had the effort gone into another 350 subclass so the services could have been a realistic length...

    I agree ngl, but I’m not gonna hate too hard on a positive, and having them remodel a train for extra variety is still cool
