I am getting a déjà vu... from the Vectron back for TSW4, where developers mixed up the highbeams and marker lights positions, making it look wrong. good they fixed it. HOWEVER... This is not realistic, as just like on the ICE 1 and ICE 3, the ICE T keeps its marker lights on when the highbeams are turned on unless A: the developers know and it's going to be implemented soon enough before release / early access, or B: somehow the marker lights are turned off during that shot, but I rather doubt it. image from the latest article: https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/tsw5-frankfurt-fulda-vectron
They can't even do the simplest of research.... Chatham Chaos Club. Remember how they now permanently ruined the 425, because instead of changing the cone and intensity of the marker spotlights they just completely removed them? Only leaving the top marker as a massive "searchlight", making driving in fog impossible. The people working on that stuff clearly have no idea what they are doing.
if it stays like that on release then good enough, but since the image I have sent in this thread's first post was a later one than the one you sent, I can't entirely trust DTG with it yet.
We have no information how old both pictures are.... That they have add in 2 different blogs it will not give any prove which one is older....
I woutf think the pictures in todays article are older, than the previous. Notice underneath it shows from Beta -Tester. Remember Beta testing was dropped before the DT direct stream. The others were likely taken by DTG.
DTG Alex do you think you could get this noted? TL;DR: highbeams are not quite right, the marker lights should stay on as per real life
Yeah Fernlicht is wrong but not the end of the world AI doesn't use this light type so you see it very rare but yeah its not correct
sure, nothing in TSW is the end of the world, however it's still wrong. otherwise I'll drop the game immediately and apply for a job at DB FV to get the full realism
Best to directly file a support ticket before waiting for a community manager to pick up on this (and maybe put in in the official Kinzigtalbahn feedback thread.)
