Why would I buy the Bakerloo Line DLC for £24.99 when I can buy TSW2 for £14.99 and get Sand Patch Grade and Koln - Aachen as well?

I think they are obligated to keep them on Steam but I don't know for sure

Why would they be obligated to keep them on Steam? Steam doesn't have a problem with companies delisting games.

What if someone wants Bakerloo but not TSW2?

Then they just don't play TSW2. They get Bakerloo/SPG/Koln-Aachen for TSW3/4/5 all the same.

  7. It's a good question.

It does seem to be an oversight, but since TSW2 was £24.99, and each route individually is £24.99, I guess they haven't much choice.

Remember that they did remove the listings of previous titles before, but then brought them back, so perhaps CactusJuice is correct.

Not an oversight and not mandatory at all. We did at one point remove the earlier core bundles and got complaints for it so we put them back on. If I recall, one of the problems was that if you were still a TSW2 player and we removed the TSW2 bundle, that also removed all its DLC as well, so you couldn't buy any DLC for 2 either. Something like that.

Some people just prefer to have the option to buy JUST exactly what they want, and some people prefer to buy the bundle deals.

It doesn't make any sense to me personally (and it doesn't have to, to be clear), but that's the feedback, so we leave the options there.

I remember back in TS Classic days, we release Soldier Summit as the core route as part of the bundle edition - £24.99 if i recall, same price as a single route, but you got that brand new route plus two other older ones. Lots of people went up in flames about it wanting to buy it on its own. So we put it up on its own for... £24.99. The new route DLC price. People loved it. The feedback I got from people was that they simply didn't even want those other two routes appearing in their collection.

Not everyone has the same decision process on purchasing new content as others, but you can rest assured that our retail team don't make decisions casually :)

    Matt.

Some players prefer TSW2 due to its superior in-game lighting, rather than the overexposed lighting with have currently in the game.

    Come on now, be serious!

The ToDv4 lighting could do with some changes but it is night and day better than the lighting prior to TSW3.

Been said many times previously, some of the older content could do to be on sale at a permanently lower price. It’s ridiculous that old clunkers like RT are only £5 less than the latest routes.

That said, Run 8 still sell all their old V1 car and loco packs at the original price to which add they never ever have any sort of discounted sale.

Well I for one prefer having only the routes I'm really interested *shrug* Even though "bundles" seem to be cheaper, but they produce clutter and actually I don't want to buy anything I don't want.

It still makes sense to buy TSW2 for £14.99 if you want Bakerloo. You can then upgrade to TSW5 for free (or buy a bundle/route) and still be able to buy any former and future DLC.
