TSW5 is a brand new game. It only officially released 8 hours ago. The versions of DLC are not the same. They are new and have new store IDs. You expect discounts straight away?
Hello - completely understand the ask here, but the real answer is simply we are restricted from discounting the new add-ons for TSW5 as we've been setting them up, and they are on a hidden "cooldown period" from being discounted. The TSW4 versions of these add-ons will give you forward compatibility to TSW5, so definitely pick up the discounted versions if you've interested in the sales - Hope this helps!
I don’t think a sale on TSW5 routes the week they are released is a realistic expectation. If you are looking at TSW4 or previous routes under the TSW5 banner, the wise move would be to buy the routes at the sale price for TSW4 they will be imported to TSW5 when you load the free upgrade or one of the TSW5 bundles.
Unless I'm missing something, this advice isn't working for me. I can't buy this addon for TSW4, as I don't have TSW4. So I can't buy the special and play in TSW5?
If you don't own TSW4 then you can't buy the TSW4 version of a DLC just to get it cheaper to then upgrade it to TSW5. You have to own the game to get the DLCs.
It's definitely worth shouting out on this. I picked up two routes yesterday on sale but had to search under previous TSW iterations to find the sale versions of those routes.
