It seems Epic wants to download ALL owned content by default, not just the core game. I've got no unlimited space, so I would like to just download the core, and then manually select the DLCs I want to install (this worked well with TSW4 on Epic). Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I know it's too late, but I can only recommend to use the Steam version. It has a refund window of two hours (good for testing DLC), all mods work with it and it has a superior DLC management system. Most user friendly platform. I see many Epic users being left alone with their questions, due to it not being the most used platform.
Problem is, that option is only available after the game downloaded/installed. This option is not there when you want to install the game (only lets you 'explore' addons, which takes you to the page where you can buy DLCs).
It seems there's no official solution. I found this workaround - never tried it myself, but maybe worth a try? https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Topic:Vo9n5m117wranwj2
