BML is busy on Gen8 too. Gen9 is abit more busy and has more layers. The only thing what makes the difference are that much AI 66 services in central London.
And as long they won't, DTG will support them too. And I it's the right decision from DTG, although I I'm on Gen9 too. The reason is simple. Less customers, less opportunities for DTG to improve TSW further. And I have a haert for our Gen8 friends too.
You will not change the right decision of DTG in that point here. DTG can't force the people to change to Gen9. You saw the current TSW content for Gen8? Gen8 customers can play with it for years. DTG would suffering economic losses only.
Gen8 is not holding back the development. I'm on PS5. And I have more layers, better graphics and at some routes longer american freight trains. But what I'm really missing are new american freight routes and fast moving external camera. Especially the camera feature I had at PS4 6 years ago.
Just watched someone on you tube playing Tsw5 on gen 8 xbox and the fps was terrible I'm talking slide show 20 fps not playable at all. I can't believe dtg even think this is exceptable.

They probably don’t, but there’s still demand for Gen8 from the player base, so if there’s money to be made than DTG won’t stop that cash cow.
