Xbox players should be compensated for the dlc problem with the launch of TSW5, it doesn’t have to be big or anything but it would help the pain the problem has caused
Not to mention, the audio popping sound still on some trains. Also z fighting (flickering textures) still alive and well. Both within the back catalogue, and new trains for TSW 5. When will it be fixed?
How so?, if you have to pay for something and you lost access to it for a week, don’t you think you should get reimbursed, like I’m missing over £100 worth of stuff, I’m not even saying it has to been a big payment or anything but you know something for a problem on their end.
No I don’t. There have been problems in the past. There will be more in the future. It’s not deliberate and all those missing DLC are still playable on TSW4 so I haven’t lost access to anything. DTG are working on it and past history shows it’ll take about a week.

I can’t use them on TSW5 till it’s fixed, so technically I don’t (I already deleted TSW4 because I wasn’t expecting any problems)
Why should only xbox get compensated when issues also exist on other platforms? Also it would backfire very quickly and cost a lot of money to do. Anyone could say there are on xbox just to get money cuz they want to and then spam it
This is specifically linked to not being able access DLCs that you already own on TSW5, and from what I’ve seen it’s only a Xbox problem and quite a big one at that because it ruined the launch for many Xbox users. Not sure how they would do it and I doubt we will get anything, I made this to see if the staff would give answer
You haven't lost anything then if it's all available on TSW4. You made the conscious decision to delete TSW4, so you've not got anything by your own doing.
Is it wrong to think a game would work on the day it launches and with all the addons?, because going off everything they were saying before launch everything should have been fine for addons being able

It already took 6 hours to download the first lot of my DLCs so do think I want to do that on two different days, if everything worked like it should I would have been able download everything at once
It's not DTG's fault if it takes you hours to download stuff, that would be down to your Internet provider. I'm lucky. I own all dlc and it takes me roughly 30-45 mins to download everything
The only compensation is to vote with your wallet come DLC releases that you don’t really want, or next year when the same rigmarole comes around. Or wait for a sale.
Throughout this entire thread, there's still two questions that remains to be answered. What is it you want to be compensated with? How would DTG even compensate xbox players? I feel like just giving out a free DLC would be a bit too much for something that's just a shortcoming of the way launching a new game works. The other thing is, how would you even go about compensating people? I'm not sure if it's feasible to send out codes to everyone single TSW xbox player or wtvr without contacting Microsoft. Which this can't be answered because we don't know WHAT the compensation is. In my opinion, as an xbox player, I don't see a need for compensation despite how frustrating DTG can be sometimes. I don't think its fair on them, they're trying their best, even when it falls short.

Fair enough, just is that steam works quite differently from the Microsoft/Sony Storefront. So as far as I'm aware, it'd be rather more complicated to compensate Consoles specifically. Imo, the compensation should be for everyone, not just console players. And I know yes, console has been struck especially hard but yk, can't just leave PC out in the cold.
I am no longer going to buy a release early.. i paid for the Deluxe, i own loads of SIMS I CANNOT play anything i am only allowed to download Standard.. routes and locos missing.. i think we should be compensated, or a discount on a future release. I play other games Sniper Elite COD etc. they are perfect, on the whole . i am really pissed off.
