I'm just going through the layers leveling on all the routes I have and found this on the niddertalbahn So if we get the 420 we will see them on the nidbahn/and a lot of other things I found like Metronom services on hamburg and waht from the bernia linie
As a reminder, the BR420 is an electric multiple unit or EMU. The Niddertalbahn is a pure diesel route, so it doesn't make sense to layer it there. I would consider it more of a placeholder...
I'll say all the points are right. And I have now found out why Frankfurt Fulda's performance is so bad The trains take the complete detour towards Frankfurt like the ICE to Dortmund. Or the s Bahn s5/s4 Parked trains and and and
...if it's AI, then the question is answered. How about just enjoying what's there and not examining half-finished sections of the route for Easter eggs. You have to give the developers a breather, after all TSW5 was only released this week!
The developers can rest and if I find Easter eggs here, then I'm happy. I mean I do it here for fun, because I love to stay in the non-play areas because you find something everywhere
Neither does the "Left Rhine Valley" layer, yet that's also AI only. The 420 is also going to simply be AI traffic around the bigger stations with electric tracks.
Yes, I'm aware of that. But why is it called a metronome, because we don't even have the license for it?
Yes, but that doesn't make sense either. I mean at the beginning at Frankfurt Fulda was also everywhere Bremen Oldenburg so you can't take that as a hint
The Line of the Metronom is called ME in real life. You dont need a license for that as long as you dont use Metronom liverys or promote the route with it.
My guess is that the 420 is attached to LFR for the moment and at its release it will be attached to whatever route it gets released for. Anyways the 420 hasnt been on September roadmaps so it probably takes more time. Maybe for the new TSG route but who knows. What has BRO to do with the 420 anyways?
What makes you think that? That wouldn't make much sense, as the 420 was never even remotely near that route. The only routes for the 420 that we have atm would be HMA (too resource-intensive), SKA and FTF.
That with BRO is an example... Because if you look at it that way, it will only be displayed if the educated is currently not available as in Frankfurt.
Well according to google the 420 drives as s6 on Frankfurt so yes also via bad vibel so well A we get a s Bahn extension for FF B we get our own route for them C she will only be on the road as a.i
What hint? It's a BR420 layer for Niddertalbahn. Niddertalbahn is an entirely diesel route. The only place you could see a 420 is at the bigger stations, where they will be AI traffic, since you couldn't do anything else with them on that route. This thread is so utterly pointless.
In general, I just wanted to show that this layer exists. Yes that it exists on the nidbahn is questionable anyway that the nidbahn is a diesel track everyone knows and yes the 420 is an electric railcar Which makes the matter all the more confusing.
But why is it confusing in any way? It's entirely clear that it will be an AI layer, just like the other LFR layer for Niddertalbahn.
check this out: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/hidden-tsw-the-tracks-that-you-dont-see.75083/
I guess, it will be AI only in Bad Vilbel...(as S6 Rhein-Main) Frankfurt-Friedberg. (On LFR AI only in Mainz Hbf, (S14 Frankfurt-Wiesbaden). Would be the right train for the time the routes are set...
That's exactly why I'm looking for something like that because DTG often plans more than they implement like with KWG
https://www.rmv.de/c/fileadmin/import/timetable/RMV_Linienfahrplan_G_S6_ab_10.12.23_bis_14.12.24.pdf From 2 trains per hour per direction up to 4 trains per hour per direction...so, more or less, between 4 times and 8 times per hour...
Aren't we only getting the modernized variants of the 420? Wouldn't make sense with those, even as Ai, on Niddertahlbahn?
It's possible they are making a retro variant as well? Just like they did the red BR 628 for Niddertalbahn which layers into other modern routes.
No, we only get the modern version as far as I know, so it doesn't make any sense..and yes, as far as I know, there will only be one version with two repaints MAG FF
Well, earlier (according to Google, the 420 looked completely different and the one we get doesn't quite fit from the outside nidbahn
It will be an AI train, so i think it maybe gets a livery out of that time period and then layers only for the 1 Minute you can Spot it in Bad Vilbel. Same for LFR at Mainz Hbf
I hope that we will get the S6 extension from Bad Vilbel to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. We are getting many hints that are leading to this.
Maybe the goal was to include the 420 as AI, which is why the layer is named that, and it got later switched to LFR stock as the train was not finished in time, explaining the Linke Rheinstrecke layer requirement.
Just gonna drop this here: Source Disclaimer: This was just Influenzo (who does the 3D models as far as I know) saying that he would personally prefer the 70s version of the 420s to the modernised ones all the way back in 2020. This was in no way a confirmation of this version coming - quite the opposite; it dismissed that since they decided on the appropriate, modernised version for HMA. With the shift in plans though, maybe a backdated version for LFR and NID is not out of the question?
Thanks for the info mate yes, because I have unfortunately only heard that she should come in a more modern condition and that she only gets 2 repaints but then I probably don't know the latest but should she be in the style of the 70s Coming would make more sense for the nidbahn
