I am happy with the release of Peninsula Corridor, but I find there are two iconic engines and a cab car on this route missing. 1: Union Pacific gp60 With only four axels, this engine isn't your common "geep." Holding 3800 horsepower, this is EMD's most powerful of the "gp" class. Holding a 3700 gallon diesel tank, and advanced technology for it's time, this would make a great addition along side Peninsula Corridor running dirt and freight trains. Caltrain MP36PH-3C "Baby Bullet" With max speed of 82-102, this was a ideal passenger locomotive. With two separate engines instead of one, noise and emissions are lower than other mp36 class. Along side the MP36PH-3C, is the Bombardier cab car/ coaches. As stated, Peninsula Corridor is a very new route so any add on's for it will most likely come in the far future if at all. Though in my opinion, later on in 2020 this would be a ideal engine pack.
MattP already mentioned the baby bullet and bilevel cars in the stream yesterday so I would say "watch this space" They are the ones included in the TS1 version also, so they're more than aware of them
I strongly agree with that! We should have some long-haul diesels around the Peninsula Corridor to take care of semi-long distance freight trains running from yards in San Francisco to yards in San Jose, just like the long distance trains of GWE!
Yes, I agree with that! At least it would make CalTrain operations come with a little more variety than just with the F40, and knowing that we would have more services to choose from and more modern equipment around would definitely make the Peninsula Corridor better!!
