Still haven't fixed the 101 expert doors when driving along on the scenario take a cap back at round 15 to 20 km out of Rosenheim the doors open and the Speedo gose to 0 and the doors don't open at the previous station sometimes I feel this is a bug not a feature I have the expert stuff off so this shouldn't be happening
Had that problem too, just turn on the Zugsammelmaschine, next to your PZB aknowledge switches on the driver desk
Thank you very much it should really tell you on This when you're not on expert mode let's do it aaagain
Tutorials generally are lacking and miss important steps. It's like training centre: I was excited to see proper tutorials on signalling and safety systems within the sim, but they are effectively overviews that ultimately tell you to look it up online. That isn't training. Especially when I've not managed to find explanations for some things online.
First of all there hasn't been a patch for the BR 101 Expert DLC, so any fixes we have made unfortunately won't be in your game for a little while longer. More to the point the reason why the doors stop working is because the battery has been drained low enough that the load shedding begins, that is a real prototypical mechanism described in the manuals of the real cab car/coaches and also confirmed by drivers The load shedding system (called "minimalspannungsrelais" or minimal voltage relay) has 4 steps. Step 4 is when the battery is being charged by the train line, in this step air conditioning in the cab and coach section is available. Step 3 is when the battery is no longer being charged, but voltage is above 21 V. Air conditioning is no longer supported (it uses a ton of power) but all the lighting and auxiliary systems are fully available. Below 21 V battery voltage the MSR transitions to step 2 which shuts off main coach lights and only allows reserve lighting. In Step 1 (below 18 V battery voltage) you're basically down to emergency operation with only emergency lights active. Door locking is shut off, the anti-skid system is disabled, Mg brakes no longer work etc. As the driver you need to make sure that the train line is always active whenever it is available (voltage in the OHLE and the main circuit breaker is closed). Next patch will include an addition to the driver assist system on both the Bpmmbdzf and the BR 101 Expert that reminds you to enable the train line (ZS) if Expert Mode is not enabled.
I tried it last night am I stupid I can't find anything for Zugsammelmaschine around the pzb aknoledge things card be that screen I thinkk that for radio stuff
The switch is located to the right of the main circuit breaker (Hauptschalter) switch on both the BR 101 and the cab car Note that you need to hold it in the "Start" position for a second or so until ZS is energized. When the "ZS aus" light goes out you know that it is active.
Thank you thank you I was just reading the hud text but do put that to start do you put it back to on afterward
The switch is spring-loaded and jumps back into the correct position on its own after activating the Zugsammelschiene.
The IC symbol fix will be released with all the other fixes listed in the troubleshooting & bugs thread, when the patch is released. I don't yet know when that is, but when I'm allowed to say I will I'm not sure what bonus livery you are referring to?
