I have done full setup on class 710 but the first few times it releases and holds at 1.5 bar for a while and will not release, after a few attempts restarting it the brake pressure then stays at 4.5 bar and will not do anything even shutting it down and restarting. How am I supposed to get this to move?
I have followed guides on YT, the tutorials show only how to go and stop when everything is already set up. Resetting physics also does absolutely nothing.
Have you played the scenarios? These will usually guide you through a cold start. You're being a bit vague in your question. Have you selected correct system AC/DC? Are you talking about Freeroam? Simple as that:
The startup procedure I used is the same as the 377/2, the mode selected is the one for the location wherever it is except in Euston I tried both as both are present in that platform. This happens on WCML Timetable out of Euston and after changing ends on GOBLIN/Suffragette line. The 710 is to my understanding incompatible with free roam.
Aha, so you're changing ends, why didn't you tell us. You'll likely get more help or confirmation if you describe the exact steps you took. There's many things that can be done wrong. That's also DTG's fault, I think one GOB scenario instructed you to put the brake into Emergency before switching cabs, which is wrong and will leave your brakes stuck naturally. If there's no Shutdown position as in old Diesels, generally leave the brake fully applied or in neutral, depending on the stock, in the cab you're shutting down, but not EMRG. I will try to spawn a 710 in FR, set it up, shut down the cab and change ends and see if I can reproduce the stuck brakes. Edit: Can't confirm this after going to GOB freeroam, spawning a Loaded 710 at Leytonstone High Road, setting a path to Wanstead, then setting up the cab (Key In, Forward, AC select, Pan Up). On arrival, shutting down the cab (B3, Rev Off, Key Out) and switching to the other end, Key In, Forward, accelerate. No issues. Maybe there's something else you did that you haven't mentioned clearly. Then if we have a reproducible list of steps that lead to the assumed bug, we can file a ticket. A golden rule in troubleshooting is to assume the person you are reporting this to has zero clue what to do, and to guide them to the issue step by step.
I just tried spawning on and did setup but turning on safety systems and it will not move, it is not possible to get video anymore as OBS now runs by a code operating platform host to install it which I don't have or know how to use. 4325xx cab (rear): Main SW off, key out, power brake 3, DRA set, EB both normal, lights tail, safety systems on...
4321xx cab (front) all set to same as 4325xx Power is on, pantograph up and AC operational Then: Key in, main SW forward, lights set to day head, DRA unset (post signal check). Power applied, brakes fail to release. Edit: Is the 710 supposed to work with 37884? I coupled it, setup the nearest cab, held couple for 10 seconds, set the 710 to recovery. Then the 37 can release it's brakes, the lights on the EP control box go out, 37884 has power and will stretch the coupler (moving slightly) but it cannot get the 710 to move.
Hi, there's a bug with the Class 710 where the train will not take power with the DRA set in the rear cab, unfortunately this has been the case since the Goblin Line DLC release. Reset the DRA at the rear of the train and you should be able to move it.
