I'm going through the Journey mode at the moment, and a few moments after loading this service I'm getting a Service Failure message and am unable to continue.
I wonder since journey is broken you can complete the service either by selecting the service or on foor at the right station at the right time to take over the service. Between the two optons, I am guessing on foot.
I reported this immediate SPAD on DRA/RE50/16:45 via ticket on July 4th of this year, so they are aware, but another ticket couldn't hurt. I found that if I waited approximately ten-twelve seconds on the initial load-in screen before pressing "Get Started," the immediate SPAD would not happen. Seems like some background assets need to load before starting up to avoid the SPAD. This trick, which doesn't always work, got me through the Journey mode version of the run.
With all due respect, that was with TSW4 and it's now in TSW5, yeah I don't see a resolution any time soon, just like the Red light Bug issue. that goes back to TSW4 when they released Salzburg Rosenhiem?
Unfortunately no luck with trying to wait before clicking ‘get started’. Will try the on foot option to see if that works, but picking from the timetable ended up having the exact same issue for me.

I was checking on something else and wanted to chime in. Before Bonzo goes beddy-bye I just fired up the Nahverkehr Dresden and it loaded in with no issue, from the Timetable. I just finished adding the mods I use in TSW4 into TSW5, maybe try validating the game files via Steam, unless you did that already, or an outdated mod that is causing an issue.
