    Hello Dovetail Games,
I am a Musky/Bass angler, and what thus game needs is appropriate gear for said MUSKY fishing. Meaning 8'6 Heavy,Medium Heavy Etc... casting rods.
Also lures like Bucktails, big buzzbaits, medusa rubber baits the options are endless.I love the game just hoping for more accurate gear for said species.

Also for a great Musky Lure,my good friend Greg Nimmer makes lures as a profession, give him a look up on facebook and see if you could use hus lures as ideas.

Yes Muskie baits hard to hunt porthos or any of those other beasts using 4 inch lures need the 10 inch plus lures help isolate the bigger fish and not have a 3 lb smallmouth scare a boss Muskie away

Agreed. We need some of the big, loud, obnoxious lures that musky want to kill.

With addition of some heddon lures in the game now would love to see heddon hellbender and some Joe Bucher Outdoors spinnerbaits and savage gear swimbaits.

I have had lots of luck with buzzbaits and the jenkolistic swimbait for musky/pike. However you will still get larger bass on those baits. Some musky lures would be really cool in the game. Like a Dadson Bonesaw or something

I’ve been trying like a madman for porthos. I think i’ve figured out the exact location where it is based off the info on boss fish. But you’re exactly right, i’m wasting too much time catching browns, smallies and largemouth using the baits i have access to.

This is where I see porthos the most. Keep in mind in the water he’s huge it’s when you take him out he’s small. He looks bigger than the rest and you will see him surface. Sunrise dynamic weather and colder the better but seen him when it’s warm hope this helps.

No problem he roams around but he seems to spawn there eventually. I’m sure you have seen him and assume you have caught 40 lb plus Muskies and he is noticeably bigger in the water than them.
