Long overdue and highly requested. Desperately needed for freight services on various routes.

We desperatly need more UK freight locomotives like the 60, 70, 56, 68, 88 & 90 but no. Why? because "the class 66 is found all over the UK" by that, DTG means 'We can't be bothered to give you (the player) more frieght locomotives because what is the point to give you more locos that do the same job as the 66"

I get licensing can be an issue for some TOCs like Freightliner and DRS but still the excuse they always use is pathetic. At the moment, all of the Ex-TPE 68s are currently wearing a un-branded plain blue livery until their future has been decided.

I don't mean any hate to DTG but come on, we want more UK frieght locomotives. Whilst the 66 is the most common frieght locomotive currently on the National Network, it isn't the only one

Let's not forget the Class 93 and 99 locomotives. Even the 59s (despite effectively being older 66s) are a change from the 1 locomotive for all standpoint that currently holds sway. Perhaps one of the third party developers want to address this issue? Long overdue at this point.

Without a doubt this would be a most welcome loco to TSW. As said many times, the 66 is getting old now.

I’d really like to see a 56 for some the older era routes. TVL would be a perfect home for this. My only worry would be, would they get the sounds right?

Let's hope we don't get the BR Class 69 before we get the BR Class 56

Feasibly, we could have both in quick succession as the body is largely unchanged between both classes and the 69 sounds and physics should be somewhat similar to the 66. Another example where doing both in parallel should save on time and resources.

true.. TBH the 69 is basically the love-child between the 66 and 56 as it is just a 56 with a Class 66 EMD engine & cab layout plus new headlight layout
