I had a thought of whether it's possible to drive all the passenger trains on WCML in one go from Euston to Milton Keynes without going back into the menu and not having to idle round on a platform for ages. I managed to pull it off northbound with following sequence: Class 710 Euston-Queens Park - Departs at 6.28 72 Stock Queens Park-Wembley Central Departs at 6.45 Class 377 Wembley Central-Harrow & Wealdstone - Departs at 7.07 Class 350 - Harrow & Wealdstone-Watford Junction - Departs at 7.22 Class 390 Watford Junction-Miltom Keynes Central - Departs at 7.32 Pretty straightforward apart from at Watford Junction the Pendolino has already arrived on a different platform so there is a bit of tension there to make it in time for the final driver switch. Trying something similar southbound looks a bit trickier with the current timetable. Just curious if anyone has tried similar on WCML or other routes that have lots of trains? A fun one if you are feeling indecisive on what to drive on a route!
Now this is the sort of scenario that would for a good Journey element, though of course DTG would need to fix the infernal train hopping save bug if you needed more than one session to finish it.
Cool. One other thing is I had to do a physics reset to get the Bakerloo service to work when taking it over at Queens Park. Although the key is in, the brakes won't recharge unless you do this. That allows you to do the startup from scratch.
