    Well spotted.
Same for me, although I've had no issues with the 390 ,I checked and you're right.

    • DSD should sound every 60 seconds regardless of controls operated (except horn or AWS – this resets the timer)
    • Unable to pan up with the reverser in forward
    • No audible alarms when speed no longer supervised or tilt not available
    • HVAC occasionally remains running with switch in off position
    • Remote tail light should be lit all the times, even when keyed out
    • Cylinder pressure only increases in all four axles when in emergency, this is definitely not prototypical
    • The doors enabled don’t always apply the brakes
    • All circuit breakers should be in the up position for on, they’ve all been modelled in the down position indicating everything is isolated
    • Door enabled lights should only be lit on the side the doors are enabled
    • Tilt not available should be lit until the train passes over the first balise and in any areas tilt isn’t authorised. Speed supervised light would be off.
    • Shouldn’t have to operate the TPWS temp isolation switch to deisolate TPWS
    • Pan tilt light should light up briefly when pan up is pressed (pan tilt self test)
    • Safety system isolated light is lit in neutral (it shouldn’t be)
    • No backup speedo available on TMS screen
    • VCB 2 isn’t shown as closed on TMS when 698 (coach C) pan is raised on TMS screen
    • No external carriage key switch (for open and close) modelled for the exterior service doors
    • 692 (coach A) vestibule shouldn’t have tip up seats

TPWS is temporarily isolated when speed is supervised by TASS, but in this condition the train can pass a red light at 100 mph. No penalty brakes are applied. How does this ensure safety in real life?

It is a telling circumstance and, in my opinion, a somewhat indicting statement, the fact that this positively factual and verifiable (or falsifiable) list deserved no comment or reaction by the community.

On the contrary, entire threads are devoted to exhausting protests about minor sound details and other elements of decoration...

I guess it is difficult to pursue the goal of a decent functional simulation, within this environment.

In any case, my thanks to Perks390 for the detailed remarks.

Don't think it was aimed at the community myself. It was so detailed,I thought Perks must operate Pendalino in the real world.
The 390 night headlamp issue I and a good few others pointed out,was valid for full use of the timetable .Not being able to react to speed limits until your on top of them is a problem for the hud-less players.
Because I'm not an expert on the railways ,I don't comment on signal or equipment issues on the WCML.
That's for people like Perks who are in the know.
The sound clipping on the 350 during coasting is a genuine issue, when you expect to be onboard for untold hours.
Anyone can easily compare the three new routes and plainly see the West coast needs some serious attention .
So a belated thank you to all the knowledgeable individuals on the forum.
It's true some on the forum get worked up.
It's mostly passion for the subject, not hate for Dovetail.
Having the WCML in TSW is a big deal for most, it's my favourite route in the whole of the UK for me;I want it to be the very best it can be.
That's why the forum is here afterall.

Is there a hotkey to enable speed control (cruise) on 390? R and F do not work.

Eeeh, I knew it... I guess I'll have to turn my head and switch it on manually, at least TSW will live up to its name of a simulator:D.

I have the same problem on Class 395, sometimes the lights are either on or flickering even after the doors are closed. I think it's a bug in the "core", not the train itself. I have encountered this problem very often, but have not found a pattern. Will now keep an eye out for it on the 390.

Not sure if you'be confused me for the Bodyside Indicator Lights, they should be lit both sides. It's the door enabled lights in the cab I'm talking about. Flashing BIL normally means that the guards key is in or an egress has been pulled.
Pendolinos don't utilise flashing BILs though.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but in the timetable Manchester Piccadilly is spelt Manchester Picadilly. Only a small thing but worth noting. Also the trains sapwn in backwards with 1st class pointing away from London instead of towards London

9G49 - spawn in July custom weather clear. Tracks ahead lighting is messed up and tracks completely black still in platform bay. Wasn’t an issue pre-update.

I was stuck at a red light for quite some time on the Refreshing Refurb scenario, when asked to depart Euston to Watford. There was no train blocking the path yet the dispatcher did not give permission on Tab either. Is this a known red light issue with the scenario?

Platform: PC/Steam, and i have not resumed from a save or anything of sorts.

I've had two timetables so far, I've had to restart to get them to work. One was on Bakerloo, other a 710 service.
If you've not far in to it , it's definitely worth a try.
Program stability isn't perfect at the moment.

Okay so new problem I have. Every time without fail the game crashes on approach to Euston. Granted I am on an Xbox one S but when you're selling a product on a console the very least it should do is not crash every time. I tried both variants of the 390 and I tried just doing short depot runs

Have you tried a free roam from a station just outside to see if you can make it in without the a.i. adding to the memory load Alex ?
Seems an odd suggestion, but I had trouble on PC with San Bernardino crashing till I did a free roam.

Had two problems today. Only first coach was tilting, as well as the rear pantograph. I later had another problem in the session, after pressing pan down, pan up did nothing. I could hold pan down, and the pantograph would raise while holding. As soon as I release pan down, it would lower again.

btw is there a screen or an indicator or sth where you can check like tractive effort being applied? on Javelin you got a little indicator on the left screen, on 390 I havent found anything (I can see the braking if I do brake, but nothing showing how much kN is going into acceleration etc)

With all safety systems enabled, does anyone else have the AWS Fault/Isolated yellow light on when in forward or reverse??

It would be good if the speed limit in the hud could differentiate between EPS and non EPS on the 390. I.e. tilt enabled, vs tilt isolated. I noticed on 1H02 on the journey, coach A standard is at the front, then it is first class coaches and only coach A was tilting - 2 bugs I presume. So isolated and continued to MKS at non eps speeds but hud didn’t reflect.

They've never got that right on any of their trains. With the 66, it will always show the line speed, instead of the max speed for the Class of the train Class 4 @ 75mph, Class 6 at 60mph, Class 7 at 45mph and Class 8 at 35mph. They briefly got it right, then patched something else and it screwed it up again.

guys, does 390 have any indicator, gauge or sth on one of the screens which shows the tractive effort / amount of power applied when accelerating?

Is this from Wembley depot? If so, in real life you've got to wait for Shunter to give you a green have signal to leave, not sure why DTG didn't add signals to all the roads in the depot for ease of operations.

    Fatal bug

9S44 Euston - Edinburgh: train derails on spawn. Probably placed off track or on buffer.

Far any of you on pc, the new mods from JetWash and his friends includes a new timetable and there are no derailments of the 390 at Euston with it. Well, have to take this back, service 1H21 did derail using the new tt.
Edit: now fixed so none of the 390 services crash.

Following up: this bug affects ALL 390/1 services that originate at Euston Platform 13. They spawn on the buffer- so long as they remain AI trains (including Guard Mode) they ignore it, but the moment you take over as driver and simulation physics kick in, it derails instantly.

I would guess because they placed the spawn point (lead/northbound power car) on that track just a bit too far in to allow the full length of a 390/1.

DTG Matt I was wondering, not that I’m lazy but recently the Square/X + D-Pad Up was mapped on the controller, so we can finally acknowledge the speed selected on the BR193’s AFB. Could it be done as well for the speed limiter on the Class 390 ? Thanks.

Please make the cruise control set key (Ctrl + R iirc?) work for the speed set - would make things a lot less awkward!

After being on 390s 3 of them in just 24 hours on Tuesday to Wednesday. I have to say the running sounds are very good, The AC always seems to be on in the Passenger carriages and it is really loud, pretty much should be quiet. I am very impressed by it, Just feel like we need to have More TMS Functionality as it just feels we don't get the proper set up for the 390 cab and a Fully functioning GSMR would be nice. Other than that, can't complain at all about the 390 I love driving it and I can't seem to stop driving it.

Why is the fuse for the AWS open, when all others are closed? Is this prototypical?

I'm noticing that the doors separating the passenger areas and staff only areas (such as between First Class and first class kitchen) have no way of making them close. Clicking them does nothing and leaving them does nothing either.

Just want to put it in here. Class 390 needs better functionality in terms of TMS screen being more interactable and being able to select all the options. Would o-f been nice to have everything interactable. Proper GSMR Set up (Which everyone has been asking for) Being able to sign into the TMS screen and GSMR. Basically everything. Why was this not implemented, again for such a requested train it hasn't been given it's full potential.

One useful feedback tho from me which is really annoying.
Airconditioning always seems to be on really loud in the passenger carriages and no way to turn it off.
