What German routes in tsw would you be likely to see the tgv on and does it even make an appearance on German routes in tsw?

None of the current routes have TGV layers.
The upcoming Ludwigsbahn could have a TGV if we get the appropriate stock.

I'm not too familiar with German geography. I see that trains run from France to germany and vice versa. Ice and tgv.
I see you can get a or could get a tgv direct to frankfurt. Although Frankfurt is the final stop. And frankfurt being the start of the Frankfurt fulda route, so you would only likely see the tgv at frankfurt.

Would the tgv from the Mediterranee route not run to germany then?

Didn't I see TGV would be a a.i.or static layer around Frankfurt, somewhere on here Can't seem to find it.
I.c.e. appears at St.Pancras during October/November ,re:Jack on the forum.
It was a good surprise to see it there.
    Found it:
What routes can I retire for tsw5
    ,mentions Koln.
    Also:
    Frankfurt Fulda layers.

I've not seen the ice at St Pancras yet. I will definitely have a look for that later.

I was expecting to see a tgv at Frankfurt, perhaps there is, I'm just there at the wrong times. From what I can tell there are several services a day, although not for most of this year.
I'm not sure what year the Frankfurt fulda route is set in.

Yeah Jack, mentioned some of the a i.layers were seasonal.
Pulling in to St.Pancras; saw something white next to two MML 43's .
I like stuff like this in the SIM, same as seeing a 390 pulling in to Glasgow.
Theatre, when a station is rammed full.

It’s mentioned in the layer list but not actually in there yet. It is a possibility that its added later on but there is no TGV in Frankfurt atm nor any definitily plans to add it

It has a layer (not playable) on Frankfurt - Fulda and a layer on sehs (playable) - maybe they’ll bring out with the Ludwigshafen but they#d have to removed the electric system of the train I think

Mentioned on the Frankfurt livestream it would be possible to have TGV static in yards by Frankfurt.
Reason I couldn't find it here.

Frankfurt-Mannheim with TGV (but a new TGV is needed, 2N2 Euroduplex). The entrance to Mannheim is almost as majestic as the one to Frankfurt. Ideal route for all types of traffic. About 80km long. It's been a while since I played it on TSC but if I'm not mistaken all the safety systems are present as part of the route is fast

The only TGVs that run on German rails are the ones that make the Paris-Frankfurt run, either Paris-Strasbourg-Karlsruhe-Mannheim-Frankfurt or Paris-Saarbrucken-Kaiserslautern-Mannheim-Frankfurt. Three train-pairs a day, a mix of SNCF TGV Euroduplexes and DB ICE 3 MF's.

No, there are also three Stuttgart - Paris train pairs each day using TGV trains, plus two using ICEs. I think there's also a train pair to Freiburg?

There are seven train pairs a day between Frankfurt and Paris actually, but only two of these use TGV trains, the other five (one of which will be extended to Berlin starting this December) are ICE.

The class 406 ICE3MF trains also haven't run to France in a good while. They were replaced by ICE3neo trains (class 407) in 2016.

TGV Euroduplex Frankfurt-Mannheim-Karlsruhe. Here is the TGV with PZB/LZB. But here the TVM is missing. In theory this could not enter France. :D

    Yes, they were replaced by class 407 – which aren't ICE3neo trains though, that's class 408 :)

Ooooh, yeah, DB called the 407 "the new ICE3". Completely bonkers naming convention on all the Velaros...

I‘d love to see a modified TGV with PZB/LZB.
Shouldn‘t be super hard to do?

    Hey, just a quick question.

Is the TGV supposed to appear on Frankfurt-Fulda now or is it not? I've seen the layer but have not seen the train. Thank you.
