Is there anyway to turn off vibrations to my controller? It's becoming annoying and I'm probably going to develop Vibration White Finger before TSW 6 arrives!
^ Yep - same on XBOX if I remember rightly. I needed to switch the vibration off immediately as it was horrible.
I'd like to meet whoever thought it being on by default was a good idea, because I doubt they've ever played TSW.
Quick reminder - the XBox has a system level option under "controllers and accessories" to permanently override ingame settings, and set vibration off globally. No more discomfort AND makes the batteries last forever.
Yeah I agree, the Xbox vibrations are horrible. If only Microsoft adapted (copied Sony) cough! controllers as they are flawless. They have the perfect balance of vibrations when travelling at certain speeds, stopping and going over junctions. All very well done in my opinion. The Xbox controller feels like a suped up mustang.
i hate vibrating controllers period cant stand it ..it dumb feature in all game i hate games that require it..i make sure vibration is off before i play any game
I wouldn’t necessarily call it dumb. It just isn’t needed in simulation. When shooting a gun in a FPS or accelerating, braking or getting bumped by another car in a driving game then the feature is much more appreciated. The community asked for vibration in TSW and the devs listened. The Xbox controller vibration I always have to turn off when playing TSW though as it’s too much, and my controller sounds like an electric toothbrush when going over junctions. PlayStation controllers offer a much better experience with the adaptive dual sense. The vibrations feel more natural.
I don't know man... I was on a friend's PS5 one time, and that controller nearly shook itself out of my hands. Granted, I can't imagine that it's any more comfortable for F1 drivers to spin out across some gravel in real life...
Ok, yeah he may have had the vibration in-game values too high. I have mine around 30-40% and it feels just right. Any higher than it would feel like an engine constantly starting in my hand lol.
